SP Its hotting up nicely (volume increase) if you believe in the growth opportunity of this CPY this is a great buying opportunity.

Re: Amazing opportunity or Jam tomorrow? Excellent info re: "Closed Down" period. I hadn't thought.....It may be a little early to call the "bottom" but uptrends seem to be the order of the day all round at present for the oil industry. I really hope this continues.A nudge from the chancellor too might help too.Best regards

Re: Amazing opportunity or Jam tomorrow? the company is in a 'closed down' period and has been for the last 2 months. This is due to the pending interim's being announced to the market. The directors are therefore not allowed to buy or sell any shares. I share you sentiment with regards to the potential growth opportunities with POS. We all agree that a P/E ratio of 30> may have been slightly optimistic, which is why the directors also sold some shares @ 220p, but this entry point does offer less risk. New exploration in the North Sea for 2016 only stands at about 6 new licenses. This is why the share price has tanked. The company though has taken measures to ensure its not solely reliant on a depressing North Sea sector.

Amazing opportunity or Jam tomorrow? Nobody has posted anything - and so I thought I'd ask........."Is Plexus now an amazing opportunity or is it Jam tomorrow?"Before the downturn - Plexus and their Posi-grip well heads seemed a really stunning business. A market leading product rapidly gaining industry wide respect in a market where new products/methods find it difficult to gain acceptance (historically). The Sub-sea well head design being the next step to really complete the Plexus Well Head offerings.Stock seemed cheap to me at 3 quid due to the likely future demand of the sub sea well heads and the niche market for which this product lies.We now have a break from drilling which may last a few years but drilling WILL come back and very probably, will come back with a flourish. A drilling campaign will not order just one or two well heads, they will order half a dozen and more (needing redundancy - and will be long lead items). You would never drill a well with only one well head - you would always have at least one spare (to cover slumping or damage).Sure - looking at the trading figures for Plexus for 2015/16 and possibly 2017 might be grim but once drilling picks up then Plexus could well be a 10x bagger.Am a little surprised we haven't had a series of director purchases although if this happens, I think I am ebaying my kitchen sink and truly going all in.I would be interested to hear of any insights which may suggest that Plexus is a poor investment at present. Am looking at maybe a 5yr time scale.............
