Very good results today Excellent results - 1.8p EPS is bang on consensus forecasts, and £0.8m operating profit is just above consensus. Plus cash seems to have been nicely controlled, with PEG ending up with £1.4m net cash. That's a historic P/E of just 6.7 at 12.1p....with 1.9p EPS forecast this year.In particular, I like the bullish outlook statement: "I am pleased to say for the year to date the Group has traded in line with expectations and that it remains well placed to add to the achievements of 2014. The visibility provided by the Group's current forward order book and its pipeline of order prospects provides the Board with confidence that further progress will be made in 2015."PS : the convertibles don't mature for over 3 years, so it's pointless to include them in EPS calculations.

I'm no accountant but the figures look good to me. Share price going up?

Re: Ticking up - not many shares around? Taking the likely conversion of the convertible notes into account, the PER is around 11.

Ticking up - not many shares around? Good to see a tick up already today on a buy of just 1,000 shares ))Hopefully the run up to the results in March will be good, now that we know PEG are on track for 1.8p EPS and a P/E of 6.5.The core results themselves should now show a PBT of £0.6m compared to a loss of £0.7m last year, so this huge improvement in reported numbers may well in itself provoke a very nice re-rating.

Re: Good RNS - P/E of just 6.5 No tax will also flatter the eps

Re: Good RNS - P/E of just 6.5 .....but PE about 11 or 12 when the Convertibles are taken into account, sorry these cannot be ignored. You can of course but nobody else will.2018 may be a long time away but I wager Petards wont be paying a divi even then!It is just I feel if you are investing in small cap businesses ideally you want something that generates sufficent cash flow to pay out a preferably increasing dividend. This tends to give a valuation benchmark for the company;or perhaps you invest in a company that will be bought out but this seems unlikely here as well.I am glad to see it is in better shape than it was, even if shareholders have not benefited, but I cannot see the point of the company at the moment for outside investors. At one time I thought I did(I hoped it would be bought out by a cash buyer);but I was wrong.Good luck however!Something my turn up.......

Good RNS - P/E of just 6.5 Excellent news - trading is in line with expectations, which means 1.8p EPS has been achieved:[link] historic P/E of only 6.5, together with a sound Balance Sheet, surely means PEG is much undervalued at these levels. And evidently margins were very good since the numbers were made on slightly lower revenues than forecast.

Looking good online Good to see a 25k buy cause a tick up.Online I can only buy a maximum 1k shares at 11.75p! Whereas I can sell 50k at a premium at 11.58p. Encouraging.

Re: EPS The loan notes mature in September 2018, so it's unlikely to be a concern in practical terms for some time yet! And on maturity they would save PEG some 7% per annum in interest charges....

BOWOOD 01 Jan 2015

EPS I like the potential here but my concern is the massive dilution the Convertable will have on the EPS.

Two RNS'd contract wins today! Another £2.5m of contracts today. The valuation here is surely bonkers at a mere £3.8m m/cap.Forecasts are 1.8p EPS for 2014 and 1.9p EPS next year, with huge order books and a decent Balance Sheet, against a 10.88p share price.
