Re: Buy back Perversely the lower the SP, the better for the buyback…. the more they buy and cancel the better for the EPS once the programme is completed. Having said that I would rather see us back at 450p and climbing...

Re: Buy back The buy back is over 12 months, whereas we have only had a single 8.5 hour trading session so far.My eyes are on the future.

Re: Buy back Pity about the SP fall today, over 3% and over 4m shares traded. Pity about the inconsistent recovery after the recent PR fightback by Paysafe and associated companies.

Re: Buy back Fantastic response to the current unjustified low in the share price, playing those shorters at their own game.Very pleased with this news. Perhaps in different circumstances there would be a better use of 100m quid, but essentially by buying back the shares and cancelling them, it is equivalent to a dividend of more than 20p a share over a 12 month period, or a yield of approx 6% at a share price of 360, and that's ignoring the fact that the share price will rise, and the shares on issue will fall by about 10%.

Re: Buy back Good response to short seller spotlight research bear raid.

Re: Buy back I think it is a big confidence boosting statement after last weeks events. the chairman and the board believe the share price is very undervalued (or words to that effect)

Re: Buy back Well the immediate response is very good! Up 32.5p on IG as I write.

Buy back Interesting move. Never been a buy back fan as it rarely seems to do anything discernible positive to the SP. Leonoff has always said he doesn't intend to start paying dividends arguing that he can more effectively use his cash to build earnings through acquisitions. I believe he would do well to reconsider his views - dividends are usually a positive tangible shareholders see the benefit of and the SP responds accordingly. Buy backs generally do zilch. I hope I am proved wrong.

Paysafe allegations Bet365 is paysafes largest client.Though paysafes letter to the market sounded lacking, Bet365s response was far more comprehensive. As stated here by other posters, it seems like they are using alot of 2014 here[link]

Re: Paysafe report/allegation As little private investors, no matter what rule was put in we will always lose out.

Re: Paysafe report/allegation I had a stop at 320, it got triggered at 280, so obviously annoyed at injustice.Usually I'm skeptical of calls to ban short sellers or call every one who makes a negative comment a deramper. The case of Gotham City vs Quindell is one example. But I also remember reading the iii bulletin boards of failing companies like HMV and game group a few years ago. Some clearly deluded investors there calling every negative comment a shorter or deramperI'm wondering in cases like this, should the regulators suspend trading for a few hours to give people time to digest news.

Re: Paysafe report/allegation I've topped up @ 308p today and will wait for the results. The fact that the company is on the main list gives some confidence.J

freedom-thirty5 14 Dec 2016

Re: Paysafe report/allegation I agree, and I know better than to sell low, although it's clear from the SP graph that the weaknesses of others were taken advantage of yesterday. Experience suggests this is a buying opportunity, but I'm sure many will also share in the sense of frustration and injustice at what has been done.I would also second the remarks of 464onlock regarding the value on offer now.

Norges Bank Look to have taken advantage of yesterday's fiasco and upped their holding….
