Re: big big deal coming and 18p shuggle - alas (and I hold a medest amount of PAF!) today the SP broke blow established support, and un surprisingly (its technically likely) the fall is more pronounced! - its the old dam busting phenomenon! Makets perked up today in the US, and its been a long (and somewhat mystifying!) bull run for markets) so hardly surprising gold continues to struggle.... I have certainly read the markets quite wrong, and have not done wellwith my PAF holding (despite the reasonable divi!) BUT gold will perk up at some point, and PAF will come charging back... the big question is when will markets finally correct, and by how much!? It would be great to have that info..... so, meantime, I bumble along!!! Despite that I havent had too bad a year at all, but its not nice when a stock struggles! Ah sentiment! What goes UP comes DOWN, and VISA VERSA! I live in hope, and there is an interesting rising diagonal that suggests that the SP 'could' find support around (0R a tad lower) where it finnished today.... Just my view, and I could well be wrong, as I havent made the greatest fist of PAF (YET!) ATB

Re: big big deal coming and 18p Is that a tea leaves and crystal ball prediction or actually based on factual substance?Just thought id ask since its done nothing but fall the last two years

Re: big big deal coming and 18p Why is the volume so low?A potentially game changing acquisition taking PAF to the next level and minimal buys coming in - what's going on?EXCLUSIVE negotiations means PAF should have no competitor. Is there some sort of restriction on dealing for the larger institutions/hedge funds until the deal goes through?

Buy ...buy...? Now look at the share price. Take care they say.

Re: RNS. Ref ASA Resources (Mwana Africa) The company is pleased to announce that it has entered into exclusive negotiations with the joint administrators of ASA Resource Group Plc (the "Group" in relation to acquiring certain assets and liabilities of the Group ("the Acquisition", which if successfully concluded may have a material effect on the price of the Company's securities. Discussions are ongoing and as such there can be no certainty the Acquisition will conclude.ASA was formerly known as Mwana Africa, I dabbled there some years ago. ASA is still available to view at asaresourcegroup.com

Re: Gold prices The consensus broker’s target price is certainly above 20p. Numis think they’re worth more like 30p

Jamesons 08 Jan 2018

Gold prices Maybe PAF will start to move if people are starting to worry about stock prices?? If Gold moves up then PAF should as well. Would be nice to be back over 20p for a sustained period.

Re: Directors Buying Maybe some resistance around 15p.Once broken next level is 18p.Correlation to gold may or may not drive this higher.Good fundamentals.

Re: Directors Buying Tdk1 - 22p? Not so long ago? Well, hopefully PAF is on the road to recovering some of its former glory, BUT the SP last hit 22p just over a year ago (late Oct 2016!) - Gold (unfortunately) has not done as well as I thought it might, but that does mean markets generally havent done as badly as I expected - so its not all doom and gloom! ...ah sentiment, and at least PAF still pays a divi!!! ATB ARPS - Chart wise: the 50 day EMA isnt too far off crossing ABOVE the 200 day EMA (a buy signal even!), and if the SP continues to recover that looks a reasonable possibility.. lets just hope those directors are 'on the ball' buying shares in PAF recently (the 50 day EMA crossed UNDER the 200 day EMA at the end of Jan this year (a classic SELL Signl!), SO a nice BUY signal soon would be appreciated!)

Re: Directors Buying The final dividend for the year was reduced to 0.487p from 0.88p.The yellow metal will be mined at an all-in sustaining cost of US$523 an ounce – which puts on the very bottom of the international cost curve.[link]
