progress? Yesterdays announcement should mean good times ahead? . does pharmaspecialist have an opinion? not sure how long something like this would take to get to market but seeing as it is an adaptation of an existing drug, rather than a new one, this would mean no lengthy FDA approvals etc?. I am not an expert in this field so anyone's input would be appreciated.

Unimpressed I am amazed at the lack of information about the company's formulation technology on the web site as this is critical to the company's success. Unless I have missed something, there does not seem to be much scientic validation of this technology either, where did it originate? Even the 2014 annual report is a bit sketchy about the technology. Biotech companies normally like to publicise their technologies and if they are any good, they would normally be patented so no risk from competitors. If I were an investor I would also be concerned about the July 31 press release saying that the pilot clinical study of OXPzero™ Naproxen produced "encouraging results". The results were not encouraging because there was no evidence that the OXPzero drug reduced gastrointestinal irritation and the reduction in the number of erosions was not statistically significant, in fact I would say that this study raises questions over whether the company's formulation technology (whatever it is) works. I hope Mr. Woodford got a biotech specialist to do due diligence on this company before he invested!

Good news to come My analysis is that it has already taken its beating, at 13.5p the shares high, it had come down to 9p nearly a 33% decline which shows that the market had already factored in the poor results coming out on Friday however there is still some more news about to come out which I think will be good news which everyone is a lot more confident about which will see this at about 12p or more depending how well the results are, let's see, we have had a big companies support this share at 10p, those decisions are not made lightly and I think the results were already known at that point.

Re: Taking a beating ? Without some very hot news, which doesn't seem likely in any near term, sub 6p now looks a real possibility, with some folks looking for much lower before doing any re-entering.m

OXP not very interesting Reading some of the seemingly quality comment on OXP, I gain the impression that after the recent RNS it's a bit of a busted flush.Mkt cap for all that is still abt £83m so it's still a way to fall, is just my feeling.m

Re: Cheap now Couldn't resist a punt. Watch this go dow

Cheap now Think it is now very cheap, level 2 looking very strong - can see it going loads higher when the next lot of results are out

Re: Taking a beating ? No rush to go back here. I'm sorry to say that because OXP has been vg to me, but I've been out since close to the recent top.A great reminder of not to fall in love with a share - it won't love you back. The steam has totally gone from the buy side and I sense more drift down to come. I'd be interested again at nearer where I first bought, but that's closer to half where we sit today, after the dismal RNS.m

Re: Taking a beating ? Anyone calling the bottom? Another large fall today on trial news?Looking for an entry point.

Chicken Lips 23 Jul 2015

Re: Taking a beating ? It does look like there is further to fall. Sentiment and those wishing to get back in at a lower price than current price. Been a pretty dramatic fall, think I was nearly 50% up at one point which is very tempting. Reduced holing on way back down fortunately so got some profit. Looking for an in currently on an every day red. Pharmacy seem to be turbulent and down at the moment from Astra to BTG

Taking a beating ? Wonder why the huge drop, results must not be as good as they thought, back to 6p by the looks of things

Surreyboy 15 Jul 2015

Re: Why the fall? If Woodford believes in the company to the tune of another huge investment at 10p then that's good enough for me to keep holding for now... hopefully 10p a natural support given the placement priceGL

Re: Why the fall? Maybe this year's spike in the share price was inspired by Neil Woodford's interest?I'll stick with it.F

Re: Why the fall? Not just todays fall but ongoing decline back under 10p?
