Trading Update Decent update without going into much detail and more or less as the market expected. Could be an interesting sector to be in following the Virgin Money bid. Tb - holding OSB long and strong - or until a buyout.

A Great Run here As can be seen from my posting history I pointed this one out as extremely oversold off Brexit fears when it was 180p and just less. Excellent statement over the last few days and accompanied by a stellar rise.Well done all who backed their convictions here with purchases and top ups.(Maybe worth watching WSG on potential for news with a good find by a poster called someuwin posted this morning)Own due diligence

Future market and prospects. With the prospects of "cherry picking", re mortgaging clients (which are endless).Coupled with new business and a booming housing market,the future must be very rosy.It will be tough to stay independent as the Eagles will be circling such a tasty morel but the management are found a sterling job and for me the shares can just keep on rising here.There is of course a downside of the economy vaulters but there's little sign of that at the moment or for the foreseeable future.My target given a best case scenario is a doubling of the current share price.Good luck all.

Onward and upwards.. With a P/E ratio of only 7 this could well have some very long legs.The big news for me was the level of re mortgage activity.This will accelerate as people always have and will , love a bargain..Business could well sky rocket on the publicity and word of mouth..There's an lot of business out there even in a depressed market and we seem to be getting it !

Price targets.. Seem about right.. Five analysts have rated the stock with a hold rating and four have given a buy rating to the company. OneSavings Bank PLC presently has an average rating of “Hold” and a consensus target price of GBX 307.75 ($4.04).

0.25% borrowing rate.. With customers switching in droves from banks and building societies one one savings and the borrowing rate just .25% it a massive boost for earnings and prospects here... One savings should clean up for some time to come.The bank’s loan book grew by 17.4pc to £5.4bn while earnings per share doubled to 30.2p, enabling it to increase the dividend by 45pc to 2.9p.Mr Golding also plans to take full advantage of the new Term Funding Scheme from the Bank of England, under which banks can borrow at just 0.25pc. That will slash its funding costs and lower interest rates on loans.
