SOH Interview 151018 really no need for Stephen to reiterate the obvious today this is one company on aim where Directors, esp non-exec, put their own money buying shares on open market - without relying on overpaid salaries to recoup same! 15:52 16 Oct 2018 “It’s really reassuring to ourselves within OptiBiotix and hopefully to investors that two big industry players…have committed large amounts of money to the company” Neil Davidson and Sean Christie have bought almost £400,000 worth of shares since July Stephen O’Hara, the boss of OptiBiotix Health plc (LON:OPTI), has highlighted recent share purchases by two of its non-executive directors over the past few months. Chairman Neil Davidson, who also sits on the board of WM Morrison Supermarkets PLC (LON:MRW), and Sean Christie have snapped up almost £400,000 worth of shares since July. Christie was previously group finance director at chemicals group Croda and food group Northern Foods, while Davidson was chief executive at Express Dairies and Arla Foods. In an interview with Proactive Investors, O’Hara said: “It’s really reassuring to ourselves within OptiBiotix and hopefully to investors that two big industry players…have committed large amounts of money to the company. “That this is from industry leaders like [Sean and Neil] is very reassuring for the company in what we’re doing. I think what they see is the potential for the company going forward.” He added: “We’re growing rapidly and we’re on that turn now between a company that has been developing products to commercialising products. “We’re getting to a point where our costs are being covered month-to-month and as we go forward, if we sustain that, we’ll grow to profitability in 2019, so it’s an exciting time for a growing company.” OptiBiotix shares were down 4.4% on Tuesday afternoon to 76.0p. Another new contract Damn , another new contract ! making the SP go down. But then again it does start to make sense . This one was for LPLDL under the new Probiotix subsidery so in the long term any monies gained by it are not for Opti. So looking back at the 20- 25 new contracts in the last year or so - how many will be directly beneficial to the Opti share price? If each LPLDL contract goes to the credit of Probiotix then thats one less for Opti. All those forecasts of £250-500k and £1m for each contract which were giving us an Opti share price of 100-130p surely must now be diluted - if there are more spin offs then theres even less. It’s like buying a cake for £100 cutting it into 5 pieces where each is worth £20. Maybe I am not thinking correctly - can someone explain if I am wrong?

Another new contract bit more coverage here [link] tis all good mol

Another new contract I wish Opti would stop announcing new contracts! does terrible things to the share price. What we need is a nice profit warning to bolster the SP. Ok thats enough sarcasm, I mean come on ! A relentless stream of positive news over the last two years which seems to be increasing. When was the last piece of bad news announced? How many companies can boast this amount of positive regular newsflow? But then again we have had a nice recent SP rise to 130p when we were stuck at 60p for so long - and if you think back previous to that I can easily remember 20 - 30p. I suppose we are finding a new level now and settling in - waiting for the real monies to be added to the companies bank account. All good fun.
