Re: RNS The AIM cesspit pops another toxic guff. I suppose the writing was on the wall when they failed to get the prized coking coal resource. That would have been the banker. As it turned they have a large low grade resource. And that’s when it got complicated. The power station is a good idea under the circumstances but unfortunately they are dragging it out now trying snare the Chinese who ‘like good deal’ and are patient. For shareholders it’s the ol’ death of a thousand cuts routine and for the directors it’s easy money. So I expect this to drag on and on and on. New lows beckon I imagine. I might have a sadistic top up if the bottom completely falls out.Well lads have a good Xmas and we’ll reconvene in six months [link]

RNS So I would sum the RNS up as:"As the calendar year draws to a close, we've failed again to meet any deadlines we've laid out, we can't get to an agreement with the Chinese as they're squeezing us because they know we're skint, and so we need to get the cap out again. We'd better go to AFC as any respectable FI will hammer us for a 20% discount to the current SP, whereas AFC are daft enough to go with a recent VWAP.We're now off for christmas and will be back mid Jan - any queries - don't bother e-mailing. And finally, we'll be putting forward some large pay increases and stock options next year cos hey ho that's what you do when you deliver nowt"Shambles IMO. They've actually achieved very little this year for their money - common theme unfortunately.Good christmas to all the genuine holders.

Re: Bloomberg Cheers M1SAK. I added another sliver here the other day. Not sure exactly on my game plan here yet. I suppose it will depend on what is on the table when eventually it's revealed. Ideally I would de-risk with a few in order to hold the rest through the ages. Let's see what happens.

Bloomberg Ncondezi EnergyThe provincial government sees the power plant as part of development plans for the area and needs to discuss with ICVL when production will start and details of its operation, Manuel Jose Sithole, head of energy and mining for the region, said in a Nov. 6 interview in the local capital, the town of Tete.Other companies building power plants in the region include London-traded Ncondezi Energy Ltd.. It said in September it intends to sign a power-purchase agreement with state-owned utility Electricidade de Mocambique by the end of 2014, to sell the output from the first, 300-megawatt phase of its coal-fired plant. Ncondezi expects to start producing power, generated using coal from the company’s mine in Tete province, in the first half of 2018.Sithole said Ncondezi’s venture is “in a good way now” after the company signed an initial joint-development agreement with Shanghai Electric Power Co. “I’m sure they will proceed with this project.”
