Are we there yet? Don't think i will see NUR-1 gushing

Sir Buns-Up Knealing 16 Feb 2015

This is the technical bottom I say that simply because very for many long term holders the current price means that the dealing costs of selling this stock means it just ain't worth it!That and a bit of hope.IMHO,

I am well down on Max . I bought more when rich ?Russian family bought in, not a good idea for me. probably about 5 k down. I don't have the courage to buy more.

Could happen!!! Nothing surprises with Max.Not anymore.Just a pity that our miniscule oil company, who were on the brink of surviving and perhaps forging ahead, have been caught up in the political /economic maelstrom entitled "Get Russia"There is no other earthly reason for the oil price to have dropped so precipitously. In that respect. We got dealt a right bundle of c--p. And at our weakest moment. On a lighter note. Was in the bookies today placing tonight"s footy bets. 15.30 at Chepstow was nearly off. "Going Concern" was one of the runners (it reminded me of our dire straits}.Had a punt. Won 5/1. Result!!!Finally. Big thank you to Drainboy, who did sterling work on here for many months, with the mind boggling calculations. All of which have been ripped asunder by 1. Rubbish info from the company (Young). 2. The current situation (O"brahmah). Ciao.

Re: Be Careful - Aim Suspension Looming "I cannot see this ending well unfortunately barring a series of miracles".========== ========== ========== ========== ========== =====You mean.... like the pressure that has been building up underground at NUR1, right on the site of our failed drill. Suddenly, like a sludgy black volcano the pressure is too great, and the oil bursts free from the ground STRAIGHT UP our failed well, and gushes out of the ground...... revealing the world's greatest ever on shore oil find ??Cheers, and good luck (for the above).

What"s the problem? Up 9% today. It"s a breeze. A write off, isn"t a write off. Until it is written off. Which could be years/months/days/ hours away.God bless Michael Young. May he rest in Hell.

Re: Sold and saved 13% wanting,Just for the record, my post was in reply to that of bobsson who stated he's saved the 13%.I have not sold in the hope that World War 3 will start imminently and the price of oil will soar to previously unknown levels. But Kaz will remain a neutral country in the conflagration. This is, admittedly, a rather selfish attitude. IMHO,

Re: Be Careful - Aim Suspension Looming The biggest problem here is margins per barrel, max petroleum are stating they need $85 perbarrel to stay in business. That could be difficult for quite a while to come,i cannot see this ending well unfortunately barring a series of miracles.

Re: Sold and saved 13% Sir Buns-Up Reeling,You saves only 13% !Had you not bought any of your notorious penny AIM shares in the first place, you would have saved yourself 100% !wanting_to_know

griller 10 Feb 2015

Re: Be Careful - Aim Suspension Looming I think most people would like to see AIM itself suspended!

accounter 10 Feb 2015

Be Careful - Aim Suspension Looming Guys be careful this is likely to be suspended from aim shortly, and it might be a very longtime if at all till it emerges. If your taking a punt thinking this could recover be prepared tolose the lot.Remember there is Hendersons here with that "death spiral agreement"over MXP and there is usually only ever one winner in these situations ( not shareholders ).

Re: Sold and saved 13% bob,You wrote:"As another poster pointed out a while ago, when a share goes bust it just sits in your portfolio statements for years, ruining your stats and annoying you. I have sold and will get over it."It is true that to cut losses and move on is good advice. But occasionally, when one has a true disaster it is instructive to remember one's folly. I leave Max in my portfolio (until it dies out) to remind me never, ever to invest in penny shares, like forever, if I want to make money. And it works!IMHO,

CAP Forget chasing the dead duck, and loose all ( I have got the tee shirt) have a look at CAP and if so inclined have a punt which may well return handsomely. 5p+ tomorrow imhho.

Re: Sold and saved 13% when a share goes bust it just sits in your portfolio statements for years, ruining your stats and annoying you.========== ========== ========== ========== ========== ========== ========== Yes it's annoying as it's a reminder of what a mess you made of that one. I have one such share sitting there for years. It's a useful reminder of what can happen so I like it sitting there.

bobsson 09 Feb 2015

Sold and saved 13% Managed to sell at 0.17p this morning and save 13% of my investment. I took today`s RNS as the management giving PIs a last chance to exit the sinking ship with something, so I took the opportunity to bale out. I will be very surprised if this does not go bust within days. As another poster pointed out a while ago, when a share goes bust it just sits in your portfolio statements for years, ruining your stats and annoying you.I have sold and will get over it.Good luck to anyone left in.IMHO
