Re: Realities Of Funding: Editthe end of the current drilling we should have completed in excess of 20,000 mtrs of drilling. If the discovery rate is the same as the maiden resource we could poss have (approx 720,000oz of gold)F.Y.I 500,000oz is the amount when the big boys start to take notice.AS ALWAYS STAY DRY RIDE THE WAVE !!!!Peace.

Re: Realities Of Funding: If you read the R.P.A recommendation for further work you will see that they costed...Phase 1 at C$ 4,448,000 for approx 12,500 metres of drilling.we have raised C$3.3 million plus a further C$170,00(approx) to cover Our current drill program of 12,000Lets not forget that we achieved a maiden resource 301,000oz on 8,436 metres total).what will it be after we have completed approx 50% more drilling?Food for thought.AS ALWAYS STAY DRY RIDE THE WAVE !!Peace.

Re: Realities Of Funding: Good morning Panaylotis EconomouThe point of my post was purely to highlight that future funding possibilities are somewhat limited in this economic climate.Prior to the last fund raising exercise our management stated "The Board intends that funding for the proposed work programme will be raised via an equity subscription by existing and new investors at or around market price, seeking to raise between £3 to £4.5 million and to be completed within the next month.”I believe that we all know that the last fund raising exercise raised less than what our management stated was required – which is indicative to how the market views this type of risk.Of course once it became apparent that less money had been raised than our management had stated would be required – then the following was announced "However, in consultation with existing and potential shareholders it was agreed that a smaller fundraise at the current time maximises shareholder value."As to the low cost of finding gold and the low costs anticipated for recovering that gold when that point is reached – of course that 'strengthens our hand’ - but that does not alter the fact that it is not easy to raise money in this market thus me urging caution with regard to this as we will require further funding moving forwards. That was the point of my post.Good luck…

Re: Realities Of Funding: Thank you for the post..Respectfully The point of your post is?...We have been told. Phase1 - Q2/3 20175,000 metre HQ drilling program to expandthe newly defined Central zone• 7,500 metre NQ drilling program to test highlyprospective targets along the Junior lake shear zone. Phase2 - Q3/4 20173,500 metre HQ Infill drilling for MeasuredResource category• Metallurgical, base line and other studies• Pre-Feasibility studies commence"However, in consultation with existing and potential shareholders it was agreed that a smaller fundraise at the current time maximises shareholder value." We are finding gold at $5 oz by industry standards one of the best. For me the company is looking after the shareholders best interests with such a long strike length and the possible extension the blue sky could be very exiting and finding it at $5 oz is a massive bonus.Winning the award for find of the year says it all.Lots of results too come.Happy to hold and add looking forward to this year.Good luck to all.AS ALWAYS STAY DRY RIDE THE WAVE !!!

Realities Of Funding: Good morning AllWhilst like others here I am delighted that we are pressing ahead and sinking more holes in what is turning out to be decent sized gold play – I would just urge a degree of caution in that we have a finite amount of funding available having only raised 50% of what our management deemed was required during the last capital raising/share placement exercise.I am not concerned about the forthcoming figures once the information has been collated from the holes being sunk as all the pointers indicate that we are sitting on a decent gold play – my concern lies in our ability to raise the funding required to move on to the next stage. If we go it alone and move towards production – there is still much work to be done before we reach that point which involves additional funding being required. If we decide to farm out or sell out – whilst both options are possible – it’s unlikely that a third party are going to pay a huge premium above existing market cap to ‘buy in’ when they know that our options are limited.Certainly not meaning to ‘over egg’ the risks – but just mentioned because there are numerous companies out there who are trading at a substantial discount to net asset worth with serious amounts of ‘in ground recoverable’ assets – who are struggling to raise funding to enable them to bring those assets into production. This is not just true for the precious metals sector – the oil/gas sector has also been clobbered. So if you are sitting on funding and prepared to enter what is deemed by many to be a high risk investment in these economically cautious times – there are loads of bargains to consider which in turn will keep a ‘lid’ on the market cap’s of companies in a similar position.Just mentioned to inject a ‘dose of reality’ into the proceedings – whilst hoping that all will come good.Good luck all…

Madoff Its up to you how you post but generally, if someone goes to the trouble of answering your question, it's polite to at least acknowledge their time and effort, even just a tick up, before asking more questions.

Questions questions....... Anyone:How accurate are resource estimates as opposed to proven estimates...? (how long is a piece of string-kind of a question I know) but are we talking 10%,20% or 50% of projects fail to materialize...? and does it depend me on size of operation as in bucket and spade or major earth moving equipment...? for example.....estimate was very good but proven was not-so bucket and spade project....Sorry for my 'technical summaries' and questions-just trying to work out an investment strategy here,

Re: consensus Good morning Madoff Jnr1) Amount of gold Remains to be seen – more importantly is whether the amount of gold discovered is viewed by the markets as being economically viable to recover as a stand alone project.2) Ability to raise cash for mining equipmentThe previous cash raising exercise only came up with approximately 50% of what the BOD stated was required – this should provide a realistic take on the market’s appetite for this type of risk and the willingness to financially support LND moving forward. The market is looking for certainty rather than risk – thus high yield/dividend paying companies being in great demand and being the only outperforming sector in these uncertain economic times. A JV or ‘farming out’ to an existing producer may be the only realistic way to bring the gold to market although I would consider ‘At what cost?’3) Transport and local infrastructureNot a concern. 4) Market for end product. There is always a market for gold.Just my take.Good luck…
