Re: Fast Forward - a good week Agree. Sticking the name of his book to the business suggests that this is not just a side project. This could get very interesting.

Fast Forward - a good week Today's RNS announces that the funds have been invested in 4 investments and the board have high hopes. The proposed rename to Fast Forward after The title of a book by Jim Mellon is good news. Mellon is very interested in this area and he now has his reputation on the line.We have seen a good rise in the sp this week and it seems realistic that this rise should continue.

Re: Fourth Investment Yesterday "GEOFF FOSTER FOR THE DAILY MAILPUBLISHED: 222, 14 October 2015 | UPDATED: 222, 14 October 2015""Kuala Innovations, in which Jim Mellon and Steve Dattels are joint chairmen with a combined shareholding of 40 per cent, held rock steady at 5.25p but probably deserves a closer look. It has made its fourth investment in six weeks by subscribing to a 3.64 per cent stake in Delaware-based firm Factom Inc, a data company working with multi-nationals."[link] volume today was 2,855,652 shares traded, out of 42M. in issue. That's double KUL's previous record volume.

£1 per share potential Three cracking investments by KUL within a month, all at very attractive valuations, and every one of which could be a blockbuster.I know that Jim Mellon doesn't like being called the British Warren Buffett, but KUL is beginning to look a bit like a miniature high-tech version of Berkshire Hathaway when Buffett reinvented BH decades ago. "'Don't call me the British Warren Buffett': He's worth £850m and believes his friend Farage is right on quitting the EU ... Jim Mellon gives a candid insight into his world SIMON WATKINS FOR THE MAIL ON SUNDAY PUBLISHED: 222, 22 November 2014 | UPDATED: 15:45, 23 November 2014"[link] KUL is currently a superb way to gain exposure to pre-IPO situations that retails investors are usually excluded from. All of its investments have the potential to come to market in the near-term, at higher valuations, and then to grow rapidly from there. Indeed I believe that if KUL's portfolio fulfils its promise, then KUL could ten to twenty bag over the next two to three years, i.e. to £1 per share. So an investor with a nice holding here could therefore potentially make a portfolio-transforming amount of money.

Re: RNS Kuala Innovations Ltd agree. This could be anything and could take the SP anywhere. I have been in for a while. But I need more info and sense of direction before committing more. Living in hope.

RNS Kuala Innovations Ltd The new investment Policy has been approved along with the change of name.It just requires Jim Mellon to announce a good investment now.

Re: Mellon appointed Director totally agree this is a screaming buy opportunity. Looks like the territory they will be moving into will be more Mellors and infotec and pharma than Dattels and mining. Either on board is a bonus. Both is a dream ticket? We shall see. What is for sure is that virtually nobody knows about this stock. All looking good to me

Mellon appointed Director RNS x2 this morning.Jim Mellon appointed Director.Shareholder meeting called to change investment policy and the name of the Company to Kuala Innovations Ltd.It looks as if an investment is in his sights and they are just getting all the ducks in a row on the corporate procedure front.

Re: Warrants Expired. It's deal time for Dat... Agree. Yet today's news tends to suggest otherwise. In other words that they don't particularly have any targets in their sights, as yet. That said, if the SP can react to today's RNS as it has, who knows what might happen should some substantive news be releleased.I accept that this is a total punt based on what a shell company might get into. But with SD involved I am sticking around for a while.

ICB888 30 May 2015

Warrants Expired. It's deal time for Dattels The old warrants expired on the 28th May so those warrant holders can no longer come and take shares at 5p. These warrants were clearly a concern to Dattels as all the new investors were given anti dilution warrants in case the old warrants were exercised. The share structure is now secure.Dattels has been sitting on the cash collected from the new shareholders for several months. He must have had deals in mind when he took over Kuala. It's now deal time for Dattels as his shareholders will want to see their money put to work.

dattels effect steadily going up on no substantive news. I have a small stake in here as a punt. Had an even smaller one in CHA and that came up trumps. Could this go the same way?
