Interims For a change, I'm optimistic that they're getting it right. Hope that they've learnt not to make investments in chancy countries like Tanzania (Acacia Mining). That seems to have gone, but why did they do it in the first place? Don't take reckless gambles with our money, please.Miners seem to have disappeared again, which is kinda odd - Rio and Blt have been doing great guns. And I wouldn't have ditched BAE: military threats aren't going to disappear, sadly, and when they seem to be getting to grips with costs. I'm nervous that Melrose has bitten off more than it can chew with it's GKN snatch. On the plus side - well they've gone through those. This is a sort of hedge against my own portfolio - nobody gets it right all of the time.

Re: Interims Pretty rubbish performance, let's hope that Goldstone can improve matters. I'm baffled as to why, amongst all the investments, Unilever hasn't been included. Of course, the excitement's out of the way, but it was, and is, a sound investment that grows capital and dividend. And no RDSB, preferring to stick it all into BP., unless I missed it.Just as well I've made up for their mistakes by investing in RDSB, ULVR, the miners, oh, and Bunzl that they've now ditched.

Re: Interims No sooner did I mention it than out it comes - well the divi, anyway. 18p again, but I forgot that they're concentrating on capital growth. Let's see what the Interim Report says about capital growth when it come out.

Interims Bit late this year. Maybe they're just so very busily intent on increasing our capital and dividends that they've forgotten?

Portfolio manager "The Company announces that, with effect from 1 April 2017, James Goldstone will become the portfolio manager of Keystone Investment Trust plc."I'm taking that as good news on the basis that I wasn't too impressed with its performance. I'm pretty sure that the portfolio didn't even have any exposure to Unilever! Why not fercryingoutloud? A well-run major UK company; instead they've been relying on baccy.I flogged some the other day, some that I'd held since the year dot.
