Re: Puzzled Hi PuzzledI am not sure whether you are for real or a wind-up. The zero dividend shares are just a means of raising money without recourse to the banksters. They offer a fixed return to anyone who buys them but have no effect whatever on the price of the ordinary shares.

BigBundle 07 Oct 2015

Re: Puzzled I wondered whether these zero div shares is a way for board members and others to ensure they get a good return on their cash irrespective of the share price in future, and thus it does have an effect on my shares.

Re: Puzzled There is no effect on your holding of ordinary shares, For the background see[link] also shows how far the Company has evolved in a short period.

Puzzled Can someone expalin to me what effect the 1,028,400 new zero dividend preference shares of 10 pence each ("ZDP Shares" at a price of 131 pence each, have on my share holding. Is it a savvy way of raising cash or is there something more sinister in the wind?

Re: Prelims Due "the Board can confirm that, as first advised on 17 June 2015, the Group's profit before tax for the year ended 30 June 2015 will be significantly ahead of the then consensus forecast in the market of £12.7m."Interims delayed due to a new accounting standard, although unsure why it should add a matter of weeks as it isn't *that* new. So roll October 19th to see the full details. It was noticeable that INL was one of the few builders down today, so perhaps there are some people gambling on a boost from the results report, in which case we should see a rise around 17/18th October if they follow the same tactics.

Re: Prelims Due Jake,Up 3.95% today on a very bad day generally. It could be people gambling on good results, but the other builders share prices haven't responded well to even good results in recent times, and average results by the likes of Bovis saw a substantial drop. It seems to be a strange quirk of the housing sector, although the market will respond over time.

Prelims Due End of September i.e. tomorrow/Wednesday - hence the tick up?Jake

NEW ARTICLE: Is Inland Homes worth 40% more? "A strong first half has supported LSE:INL:Inland Homes' rerating since the autumn, with the shares trading 30% higher. The number of units under completion has rocketed and the housebuilder still has a substantial landbank. That could mean ..."[link]
