Re: Jump Start Needed Please It maybe that us, private investors made a mistake by investing in a company that is just a mover in the wrong direction. Cutting the costs seem like a good idea but dyor. One of the worst performers in my portfolio

Jump Start Needed Please Do you think someone from this company might stand up and say something positive soon ? Anything ? Anything at all ? As already stated, Are they aware that us Private Investors, who gave them lots of our money , are out there and in need of some positive thinking ?

Re: rns The experience has made me even more cynical about private equity bring companies to market - they do so not to secure investment to grow the business but to take the piss out of everyday investors.

Re: rns Regrettably this share has performed to munter status since I bought at IPO. Stangely my other poor performing IPO has finally got to its offer price today after almost a year. Both these were recommended whereas Merlin a company I really like(Warwick Castle) was rubbished, so I avoided. These two perform miserably and Merlin steadily move forward - it is enough to put one off IPO offerings. Does anyone have any positive insight here.

Re: rns What is guidance worth? I suppose the danger is that TF accepts a low ball offer for their holdings and ipso facto for the whole company.

Re: rns Dark Helmet,So, assuming a bit of 'market sell down' (to use INFI's own words) is taking place and/or short sellers are positioning themselves in anticipation of such market sell down, we can expect the SP to decline further. If so, a rather intriguing situation is developing. INFI has repeatedly given guidance (at the time of the original IPO and again when the results were announced mid 2014), pointing to a dividend of £55 mill for year ending 31 Mar 2015, or 18.3 p per share. One does not need a calculator to recognise that 18.3 p against a current SP of 186 p amounts to a dividend of just under 10%.So, will the Board honour their words ? Either way, it looks interesting, but alas I am caught in a deflationary trap .. why buy today when you can buy cheaper tomorrow !Ahh me. Kantos

Re: rns The flurry of announcements is because of the following:15 December 2014Infinis Energy plcTerra Firma Investments (GP) 2 Limited, for and on behalf of funds managed by it ("Terra Firma", confirms that it is exploring options to crystallise the value of its 68.6% shareholding in Infinis Energy plc ("Infinis", including potentially a sale of the stake. Given that Terra Firma owns a significant majority stake, it believes there is merit to exploring potential interest in the stake as a whole alongside other options, including the potential for market sell downs. The sale of Terra Firma's stake to a single acquirer, or multiple parties acting in concert, would trigger the requirement for a mandatory offer for the remaining issued and to be issued ordinary shares in Infinis, except with the consent of the Panel. There can be no certainty that a sale of all or any of Terra Firma's shareholding in Infinis will take place nor as to the terms on which any such transaction may take place. The Panel has confirmed that no put up or shut up deadline pursuant to Rule 2.6 of the Takeover Code will currently apply as a result of this announcement.
