Re: FFS Vote Scoob, I would be very careful advising anyone to vote NO. If you vote No you may end up stuck with your shares and if Delek gets at least 51% of the company which in my view is not a stretch, then you very well never see $ 1.95 again. Delek will eventually own 100% and it would be a shame to have your shares squeezed out of your hands for less than the $1.95

Scooby Doo It 11 Feb 2017

FFS Vote We all have strong opinions here but just make the effort to vote against it when you get the chance, make the effort yourselves and encourage others to do the same. IAE is being sold reconcile that, we now need to get the best price we can and it's a damn site more than £1.20 whatever spin they put on it.

Drainboy 10 Feb 2017

This 1.95 CAD bid has both limited IAE's potential rise from FPF-1 coming online and kicked off excitement about other M&A.IAE has become boring and limited given all the other options out there.Which is a shame as I'm still here and didn't jump ship on Monday as perhaps was most beneficial. Just hoping for the chance of a counter bid or Dalek raising their bid out of fear that major shareholders will say no.Still can't believe that in one fell swoop, the management scr3w3d the shareholders by stopping the continued rise of the share price coming up to first oil, whilst offering to pay Dalek 10 million quid for the privilege if someone else offers an actually decent bid.Gobsmacked in fact.

119.1p obviously . Not 1.191 Nm

onedb1 10 Feb 2017

1.95 = 1.191p right now With sterling weakening a bit ( good for uk holders ) At 117 I could buy a few just to earn 2p . Plus the chance of a counter bid Bit baffling why some though are throwing 2p away a share when fx rate does not suggest that .

Re: Knew it how much mileage (if any) do you think there is with announcement of oil? Or is that all built in now?

Re: Knew it More fool all of us for not buying a shed load more when delek increased their stage at 55pWith hindsight it was the most obvious takeover attempt bar Rupert Murdoch and sky!!!

Re: bid I sold out today. Looks like a long wait for 3p a share more...Cue bid frenzy and the price hitting £2 lol !!Good luck all. Personally I'm diversifying from oil and bought some BT as I think they can turn it around !!

Re: Knew it Couldn't agree more Hub, and it's a complete win-win for Delek - either the bid is successful and they pick up the assets for a song or they start a bidding war and the value of their current holding rockets. Any way you look at it, these guys are on the ball or should I say "on the money" ?

Re: Knew it It's the BoD's that you should vent your frustrations - not at Delek. This takeover deal is as good as an MBO with a financial backer.HUB

bid So Dalek with a man on the board might have known about pre-production testing. Presumably there's a holding tank where some production can be stored prior to offloading to tanker. Before you order the tanker you test to see that oil flows. Dalek could well have made the bid in possession of more knowledge than their average mark. They have consequently not put a floor on the price, as if people think they will be successful then there is a ceiling on the price.Letting them pick up the bottlers in the meantime. All with the apparent co operation of the company. This Davros bloke is a real Bar attendant and don't deserve nowt.

Re: Knew it Liberated from Muslims, not occupied

Bostero 08 Feb 2017

Knew it I just knew when a compnay from occupied Palestine became involved that it would spell bad news somewhere down the line, and so it's come to pass. As shareholders we've been turned over. My last drip of faith in oil and gas industry investment has now vanished.

Re: 2.75p profit for every share Agree. Indeed if sterling drops again we might see 130p here regardless ha!
