Re: Recent Falls PJNot sure what the question is. HFEL is the sun of the value of its investments, when they fall its price will followCurrently it seems to be trading at a small discount to its asset value whereas previously it was I think trading at a premiumThe answer to your question depends on your view of Far East markets but nor China as it aims to provide a high level of dividend as well as capital appreciation from a diversified portfolio of investments traded on the Pacific, Australasian, Japanese and Indian stock marketsLike you I hold a fair chunk of these for the diversification and dividendDeep

Recent Falls Anyone have thoughts on recent price drops? I assume it's simply driven by the falls in value of the Chinese market, rather than any fundamental issue with HFEL. Especially given the recent dividend increase. So, is this a temp dip and buying opportunity or do people think there's something more significant and they'll be further falls?HFEL is one of my core holdings (currently 7.7% of my stash) and with the current yield of over 6%, I'm tempted to add more at this price. Cheers,
