Trades With 318m GUN shares traded on AIM and 71m on the NEX Exchange, either yesterdays investment in Zenith, up 20% plus today, or imminent news from other investments has lit a fire under GUN. All the trading hasn't done much for the SP.YB

Gunsynd RNS Seems good,Further investment in Zenith Energy The Company is also pleased to announce that it has signed a subscription agreement with Zenith Energy Limited ("Zenith", an oil production company based in Azerbaijan, to invest £375,000 in the upcoming IPO on the standard list of the London Stock Exchange. Zenith's admission date will be 11th January 2017. Hamish Harris, executive Chairman of the Company, commented: "This fundraise allows us to make a further substantial investment into Zenith Energy which we believe offers substantial upside opportunity for the Company. We also keenly await the results of the workover program which should begin shortly. Likewise results from drilling at the Brockham licence in the Weald basin should be released soon which the company has exposure to via Alba Mineral Resources plc. Any success should also impact the value of our 2% stake in Horse Hill Developments Ltd by further validating the results from the Horse Hill well drilled by UKOG. The Company is also in discussion with other parties with respect to possible investments and we will update shareholders as appropriate regarding this. In short 2017 looks a very exciting time for the Company with plenty of near term drilling providing scope for a substantial rerating of the Company".YB

Tungsten Update & Pires Investment Very nice to see an update on Brazil Tungsten Holdings, production increase in just one month November 2016 rose from 11.8 tons to 13.6 tons. That's a 15.25 % increase. Not bad particularly if this is the early result of improvements made to the mine.Interesting the Pires Investments with interconnecting links.Pires Investments - Paternoster Resources holds 24.58%Paternoster holds 24% of PolemosCommon Denominator Directors of Gunsynd, Polemos & Primorus, Gunsynd - Hamish Harris & Donald StrangPolemos - Hamish Harris Primorus - Donald StrangNo doubt there will be other links. If it's good enough for Hamish and Donald, good enough for me. Can we say, Dave was 'ere?YB.

Re: sliced This discussion board did not switch name... but started a new one on after the name change.EVO old messages can still be seen on this site.Unlike stellar resources which also name changed to Primorus ( that discussion board just switching over )... just to add to confusion ??Makes both company's look a bit dodgy.

Gunsynd Investments What a tangled web of investments, all very positive.Follow the threads.Gunsynd investments:-A 2% interest (being 20 shares) in Horse Hill Developments Ltd (“HHDL”, the 65% owners and operators of onshore exploration licences PEDL 137 and PEDL 246 (known as “Horse Hill”.92 million shares (being a 5.08% interest) in Alba Mineral Resources Plc, a UK AIM listed company who holds interests in two oil licences in the Weald (Horse Hill and Brockham – PL 235) as well as a number of mining projects.A 10% interest in Brazil Tungsten Holdings Ltd29.2 million shares (being a 0.73% interest) in Noricum Gold Limited which is a UK AIM listed company whose main asset is a 50% interest in, and operational control of, the 861 km2 Bolnisi Project. The Project which is located in the Republic of Georgia contains multiple, large copper & gold non-JORC resources.Although just 5.08% interest in Alba Mineral, Alba looks promising. As well as Alba's holding in the Brockham which is producing a return now, Alba announced on the 1st November it had aquired a 49% interest in Amitsoq Graphite project in Greenland with an agreement to purchase a further 41%. A 90% holding of Amitsoq Graphite.Graphite - The importance to the lithium battery market.About GraphiteThe current industrial uses of graphite include steel, refractories, brake lining and other automotive products. The expected largest growth area is associated with lithium ion batteries, currently the preferred battery source for electric vehicles. According to Industrial Minerals, graphite is the second-largest input material required in lithium ion batteries by volume. Other growth areas for graphite include fuel cells, aluminium anodes, pebble-bed nuclear reactors and graphene. The European Union and the USA have named graphite a mineral in critical supply. With a lack of exploration and development in recent years and with China said to be producing 70% of the world’s graphite but with graphite exports from China constrained by an onerous export tax and licensing regime, lithium ion battery manufacturers are reported to be very concerned about securing long-term supply. Gunsynd seems good to me with Horse Hill, Brazil Tungsten and Noricum Gold still to come.Just my view. I'm in and holding.YB
