Re: Finals Hi TB,Ive been holding here for a while but havent posted till now.I like the company ethos (diverse recruitment including support of ex-forces and 0% gender pay gap) with an emphasis on upskilling the workforce.Rod Flavell the CEO appears to have started the business with 3 people in an attic in Dudley! As they expand the international coverage then further growth should be steady. The focus of the 'Mounties' can also be altered over time (eg more cyber work) so the business model looks reliable.Todays results were flagged as ahead of expectations in the January update but it is good to see the detailed numbers. A lot of Co. results out so all takes time to review in detail.''The Group has adopted a progressive dividend policy. The aim of this policy is to steadily increase the Group's base dividend, on an annual basis, approximately in line with growth in the Group's earnings per share. The Board reviews the Group's dividend policy on a regular basis and is confident that there are currently no significant constraints which would impact this policy.''Im not too keen on links exclusively to EPS especially if the LTIP awards more shares to directors also on EPS basis. At the moment dividend cover is low but is matched by free cash flow and they have no debt. Also, growing organically rather than through acquisitions but the spare cash will support expansion. They may also pay us a special divi at some point.SG

Finals Writing to myself probably but another set of great results. I added more in Jan and considering more for the long term.Hard to fault this business model. Kudos to the management team.

Adding Despite the SP more than doubling since my original purchase I've decided to ride this winner and am adding to my holding in advance of the finals on 7th March.I've been following FDM on twitter and like what I see with ever growing expansion worldwide, targeted recruitment and admirable objectives to grow the business. This is a dynamic company which remains largely under the radar with analysts and BB posters. With the usual caveat of DYOR I'm looking forward to the final results.

Great interims I bought into FDM just over 2 years ago as a minor speculative growth stock pick. The divi increases from the last few sets of results now makes it the dream combo of growth and income which, with hindsight, I wish I'd been braver to back with more cash.Tempted to top slice a few but, as with TET, sometimes sitting on them doing nowt pays off.Hats off to the management team.

Re: Still looking good comfortable holder here....sasaMe too. Very quiet board here which not necessarily a bad thing for returns. Expecting some good figures tomorrow following the unusual jump in SP Friday am off the back of no news AFAIK.

A Brexit vote bargain? I got into this a few months ago and everything was ticking along nicely but since the June 23rd 'out' decision, it's dropped back 30% but I dunno why really....IT security management should be a necessity these days for SME's not up to the mark with defending themselves from the growing hacking threat which could so easily jeopardise their business if they're not careful.FDM's 'Mounties' model should represent an ideal solution to assist them where 'tech savvy' requirements are somewhat lacking but the steep fall in the sp suggests there may be more to it than that. Anyone got any views on this?If it drops much more, might add to my position (fortune favours and all that) but am equally anxious to avoid the 'falling knife' risk if I can; might be better, perhaps, to await the next update from the Co before deciding.....sasa.

FDM FDM. Doing well today. The chart started going up in May/June this year. "Thanks Stan your advice its working well". The chart is rising up the 50 WMA, it dropped to the line, and up she goes. The profits are also rising. Looks like it might go up for a while here.PNA Also doing well today, did a nice RNS, up she goes..Loadsadough

Re: Why the Seesaw ? Hi Thank you for your reply. OPTI has a big up, and down with a nice upward swing to it. I spend my board time on the ACTA board for a chat to people. My wife and me have just been looking at FIF to keep us busy. Good luck with your stocks.Loadsadough

Re: Why the Seesaw ? Thank you very much for your helpful message. Yes, this board is quiet, which is odd given some of the very positive news that has come out. I can't see when the dividend is due or what it is, but as I am an extremely amateur investor my lack of knowledge does not surprise me !!! I will stick with FDM for quite a while yet as the pattern is generally upwards. On a more upbeat and self congratulatory level, I accidentally seem to pick out winners and am particularly keen on Lancashire holdings as I think a T/O is due.Thank you for your other investment suggestion. I will look into this soon as I intend to get rid of some shares in Sainsbury before they hit rock bottom (contradicts the last para !!!!!!!).Adrian(o)

Re: Why the Seesaw ? Hello adrian. It seems that shares often have a chart that goes up and down. I look for the chart that displays its swings, and I work out the tops, and bottoms. As long as it does this in a nice up swing I am happy. If it falls below its bottom swing I sell it. It seems that you are the only one who is on this board so far. Never mind if it carries on rising others will join in. I found this one from the ADVFN news displays. Lets hope it works its self out ok in the end.Have you looked at OPTI? Its on the move, nice up swings..Loadsadough

Why the Seesaw ? I like this company and the recent SP hike north, but am wondering why it is so variable. The range is high which explains some of it at the start and end of day, but otherwise, I am not sure why. Can anyone tell me, even if you think it should be obvious.

Re: Found this good report on FDM Are we the only people who look at this discussion board ?A nice rise in the last couple of days. I was wondering if it was a T/O target, but for now I was wishing I had bought more stock a while ago.....
