Re: Bought a few this pm Clawing back into small profit after unfortunate first purchase timing. Shame I messed up on the 1st purchase as it spoilt this recovery in price. Lucky I made the 2nd purchase to give me a change to get all square then small profit. If markets weaken I will be quickly out to re-visit a better average cost price.ATB

Sharp bounce back Despite the pullback in January and the ongoing bear market in general, these shares continue to outperform the All Share Index by a country mile, showing persistent strength and the shares should be retained. The 3 year chart indicates the continual growth story.

Re: Bought a few this pm Hi Tony,Me too watching and waiting for ages!Yes, a bit painful when I had banked some profits bank in November to use in any slide. I intend to buy these in three stages of averaging in so one more available should we go lower.Average cost 10.50 so not overly concerned as a great company. In good company with Lion trust topping up to 12% at a higher price to mine.GLTA

Re: Bought a few this pm I'm so glad that wasn't me! I have been watching this for a little while, and it had reached my target buy price but I decided to wait a little longer. Phew!

Re: Bought a few this pm Hi AT,The recent strength against the market was the reason I bought on Friday - I thought they were heading ever higher. Head handed to me on a plate!!

Re: Bought a few this pm First notable setback since I bought 2 years ago, and no real reason for it other than the sp had got a bit ahead of itself over the past 6 months or so. Today's statement was not a profits warning unless one believes "trading performance in line with expectations" is a disguised one. The sp had defied gravity against the general stock market fall-out. But it is now back to levels last seen in September and a more reasonable P/E of around 21, which is still a bit high.

Liontrust showing near 12% share New disclosure. This with SCSW NAP inclusion over the weekend, together with earlier SCSW porfolio purchase of this share should give SP a real and justified boost. As is well known SCSW portfolios do brilliantly both in absolute and comparative terms. Sometimes, dont know why we bother to make our own share choices really. Just follow them!

UK MoD Win Pit is that the incompetents at CGI are the lead SI here, so every £1 of software there will be £15 raft of poorly delivered services. That said at least EMIS will see some more crumbs from government dispensed 'largesse':The Ministry of Defence (MoD) has picked CGI to provide an integrated electronic health record (iEHR) service for the UK Defence Medical Services (DMS). The contract will enable DMS to promote, protect and restore the health of service personnel to ensure that they are medically fit throughout the world. The contract, called Intermolar, is for three years with an option to extend further. The Intermolar deal is intended to enhance the current Defence Medical Information Capability Programme (DMICP) service that is presently provided by CGI, ensuring continued delivery while the MOD determines its long-term medical IT requirements. CGI will build on the current DMICP service and provide an iEHR system for around 400 sites worldwide, with over 2,500 concurrent users logged in at any time. The system will hold some 600,000 patient records, of which approximately 250,000 are "live," and support up to 20,000 consultations per day. The system is based on the EMIS Health application, EMIS PCS, which will allow clinicians with appropriate access rights to be able to access and view patient records 24 hours a day wherever a patient seeks treatment. Air Marshal Paul Evans, the MoD's Surgeon General said, "We are delighted to continue our close relationship with CGI to ensure Intermolar delivers the reliable service that we currently receive from DMICP. We are confident Intermolar will play a key part in our continuous drive for efficient and patient-focused processes and services." The MoD is moving towards the creation of a forces-wide medical information system (MODMIS). The programme, dubbed Cortisone, will eventually replace and extend DMICP, a multimillion pound programme developed over ten years from 2006-2016, which provides clinical records for primary care, dental, rehabilitation and mental health. Cortisone is intended to "provide a health and healthcare information capability that delivers the right information to the right people, at the right time and in the right format, in order to enable effective delivery of health and healthcare advice, health and healthcare services and medical operational capability and thus support the aim of Defence Medical Services (DMS)." The Cortisone programme actually comprises three projects. As well as Intermolar, there is also Rebrace, a future defence integrated Electronic Health Record (DiEHR) and Actuary, a future version of the Whole Hospital Information System (WHIS).
