the amount of buys going through here and the SP is dropping!

Walking With Giants 09 Apr 2015

Todays rise 0.009p Despite all the trades during today based upon the early RNS, this was 0.120p at 8.01am this morning and closed with a mark up of 0.009p at 0.129p Looks like AIM traders have pocketed more than any of today's buyers.

Re: Perspective Fabulous news about HH, considering there was no HH when I bought -in I believe we could see a sustained rise as the enormity of these results sink in. I am still very keen on the Brockham and Lydsey as they are very close to the HH drill field and will be included in the overall prospect for the future development. Dor has shares in 3 licences. . An update from G S re recent investments, and a bit more info on the plans going forward, and we will be the investors favourite. Come on D

Re: Spiked at 0.2p Placing orders are being triggered therefore some selling. Once the tree shake is over we should bounce back.

Walking With Giants 09 Apr 2015

Re: Spiked at 0.2p I image the sp is being held down whilst the big orders get filled. Thats the way AIM operates ..... PIs come at the back of the queue unless your selling in these instances.

Spiked at 0.2p Got caught up in the hype last year and had all but written these off until this morning.Am interested again and may even top up.Exciting times ahead.

Re: Perspective I agree welloiled ... we will be back above 0.21 very soon given the RNS ... The story has been on Sky News today and even the doubters are saying it is a very significant find ... Now .. I was just wondering ??? ... if you were BIG-OIL .. wouldn't you want a piece of this ??? I can imagine the BOD phones are off the hook at the moment ?? .. GLA ...

Re: Perspective Not surprised nor confused given this is AIM and funnier things have happened. I am locked in at 0.22 but have topped up today to lower my average slightly. Am expecting to breakeven at least judging by the risk at UKOG and ALBA. Its a shame DOR gets no public coverage, just read an analyst comment by RFC Ambrian who are really positive about UKOG and Angus, but no mention of DOR. Being patient.

Re: Perspective Surprised and confused?I bought in September 2014 for 0.21p before the news, would have expected us to jump straight past that figure? Given up trying to understand the market…should be more rises today IMHO.Welloiled1

Perspective Guys do not forget DOR also has interests in Brockham and Lidsey, HH is only one of the assets for them for which they only paid £600,000 (could be worth 10x times now). UKOG reported on BBC today that around 15% of the 100Bbls will be recoverable, equating to 15Bbbls of oil produced. To put this in perspective, the entire North Sea has produced 45Bbl so this discovery is probably the largest onshore in the UK. At 6.5% direct interest DOR is very well placed.Furthermore, remember current production could may as well increase to over 500bopd via the current side track plan at Brockham and the additional wells at Lidsey. Either hold or buy in. This is cheap even at this inflated price.

Re: On Yahoo News I sold my UKOG shares 2 weeks ago and topped up here! Hoping this sees a similar rise now.

Re: TV News There is no upper limit! UKOG is up 257%. As soon as the wider public gets wind of this it will blow. GLA

On Yahoo News The estimated size of an oil find near Gatwick Airport has been upgraded to 100 billion barrels.UK Oil & Gas Investments (UKOG) said the Horse Hill-1 well in the Weald Basin was now thought to hold 158 million barrels per square mile.In May 2014, the British Geological Survey estimated the Weald Basin to hold around 4.4 billion barrels of shale oil.Stephen Sanderson, the chief executive of UKOG described the find as a possible "world class" resource with the potential for "significant daily oil production."He said: "Drilling the deepest well in the basin in 30 years, together with the ability to use concepts, techniques and technology unavailable in the 1980s, has provided new cutting-edge data and interpretations to comprehensively change the understanding of the area's potential oil resources."The US-based firm which studied the reservoir estimated that recovery of the oil would be limited at between 3% and 15% of the total. It also suggested there was no need to use the controversial extraction process, known as fracking, to get access to the oil.Mr Sanderson said: "The company considers that the high pay thickness, combined with interpreted naturally fractured limestone reservoir with measurable matrix permeability, gives strong encouragement that these reservoirs can be successfully produced using conventional horizontal drilling and completion techniques."
