New: Customer, Region & Oder Dear LTH,Great news today as our business announces a substantial long term commitment from a new customer and crucially a new region of the world - Bangladesh. This order (£5.4m) includes maintenance and software licences and gives a platform, as JC says, to take us well into the future with reasonable surety of cash flow. I totally agree it has been wee while in coming but undoubtedly this is clearly another strong foundation stone in the growing of our formerly tiny business to becoming a global player via multiple, strong partnerships and technically leading, proven, technology. Onwards and upwards.Regards,

The dog barks, the wind blows ..... ... the caravan moves on.Errm, isn't today's RNS quite good news? Even if they are still shifting cash at a prodigious rate, which is, I guess, the sand in our sandwich."Cash, as of 31 December 2016, was £3.9 million." It was 2.4m in June, and since then they raised 4.3, so I reckon they burned £3m in 6 months, but that's just my view. From the RNS:2016 revenues of c. £1.8 million, showing an increase of 560% over 2015CyanConnode (AIM: CYAN), the world leader in narrowband radio mesh networks announces a trading update for the 12 months ended 31 December 2016.Trading for the period was in line with management's expectations with revenues of approximately £1.8 million, which is an increase of 560% compared to the same period last year. Cash, as of 31 December 2016, was £3.9 million. Importantly, a significant portion of revenue growth was underpinned by the PVVNL and CESC deployments in India and the long-term nature of subsequent contract wins provides improved visibility going forward, with order backlog from existing contracts going into 2017.

O/T - Download v Vinyl Listening to Radio 6 yesterday, they were talking about how popular buying vinyl records has become again i.e. value of sales of vinyl is now more than the value of downloads for the first time.Anyway, they asked listeners to suggest tunes which included references to vinyl records in the lyrics and this one came on. www.youtube.com/watch?v=Rws_7mLTqj8 Cheers ITT

Re: Orders Hi the old troutThere's probably been no comment on here because the news of the piddling orders released this week does not match up with all the bigging up of CC by JC et al and I think that we're all a bit tired of it and him to be honest. There's only so much BS one can stomach.Orders of 400 and 4.000 units and more need to be landing in CC's order book daily, not annually. Also, we've been waiting for ages for our TATA framework agreement to be finalised and yet when one eventually comes through even that framework agreement isn't ours, it's L&T's.The only news that's going to budge this SP is an order of some scale (like the Iranian one - if that one is to be believed). My guess is that if we get any news that spikes the SP, it will either be news of a Thai contract or a cheap Thai takeover. CheersITT

Re: Orders The problem may be that not enough information is being given to make an informed decision about the company. We are told there is an order from Eon, but not how much it is worth (presumably virtually nothing, as it is a pilot) and another order worth £230,000, but no indication of the likely profit on that order. We don't know the current cash burn since the company expanded, but we do know that Biggles International has poured over £4m into the company since July. Hopefully, we have cash in the bank and therefore another placing will not be necessary, but who knows for sure? Anyway, fingers crossed, when the market gets some hard facts like the year end results, it will be good news and the price will fly.GLA
