Loan notes... I bought these at 134.2 Dec 05 so have seen them really scrape the bottom. Only 901 of them so happy that I'm getting something above what I paid but I hate it when things are taken away from you just as they seem to be "on the verge" so to speak. I did subscribe to the loan notes though and I was wondering what happened to those (183 of them). Thanks anyone.

Thats It Then Very sad day INMO.Another British company gone before its full potential is realised...This would never had happened to an American company at this stage of development.INMO.. within 18 months all that will be left of Cyprotex in its present form will be the assays which are easily transferred to Germany.So in summary who are the reel winners here.. ?

Nice Timing Its the last day for receipt of proxy votes.. So what do we get an RNS on a new product... They will probably go the full hog and release the most positive trading update in their history later this week..Just to have a good old laugh at the suckers who did not oppose the takeover.. I.E. most PI,s who post on this board.

Trading Update What is the betting that we get a trading update after the Agm/court meeting.They probably have two reports to release depending on the outcome.One highly positive one if the scheme fails to pass and the other one being lacklustre if it goes through.Only my opinion so dyor research.

VOTE TO REJECT Has anyone else voted to reject this offer.. I have been able to cast two votes.. One through my pension and as a individual holder..If people are against this offer it is very important to vote as the court will decide on individual votes and not the amount of shares a holder holds.INMO.. if they really are keen to sell they should be looking at offers around the 100 million mark.Also where is the trading update which we generally receive around this time of year.I did e-mail the company two weeks ago,but had no response.. Says it all really

USA White Knight For the last 3yrs and more Cyprotex have been working with a leading USA PharmaThis Pharma has supplied Cyprotex with data which has been used by Cyprotex to develop much of its new offerings for the last 3 yrs.One can only wonder what this USA major Pharma now thinks of the Evotec offerWhich is effectively giving over a lot of what it has gleaned from at least a decade of Clinical trials , both successful and failures and Cyprotex has used to develop new in vitro assays plus recent in silico modelsAt least 2 other major USA Pharmas have also supplied their data to CyprotexWill an American white knight ride to the rescue ?

Heres one for you[link] of arrangements can fail if minority shareholders object even if large shareholders vote to accept.I will vote against and I am sure a good quantity of other shareholders will as well.the way I find it a little odd that you post a corporate presentation from Evotec.. Why not post one from Cyprotex.. Oh silly me their corporate broker doesn't like representing them and promoting their interests..
