New presentation out Good to see Cora getting the message out there and updating investors on 2018 plan.It doesn't take a rocket scientist to tell you that Cora are likely to be exploring additional funding options at this current time. The $5m cash pile will be running low after some intensive work over last 8 months+.Q3 appears to be a period of finalising the funding options looking at the gaps in the presentation. They have options and whilst I don't agree with the 'standalone' mine vision - they may get a better outcome by selling a 10% to HUM for some cash.HUM should be swimming in cash by Q4 but do have exploration of their own to get through before making any rash decisions on buying in additional resource. Ultimately, HUM are only going to invest back into Cora if they (and Cora) know that the resources are coming to HUM's Yanfolila. Some kind of deal will need be done at somepoint this year otherwise Cora may need to tap other investors which inturn dilutes HUM (assuming no participation) and lowers the impact of doing business in yanfolila. Not surprisin to see Cora share price a bit static of late after such good news. The market wants to know where the next wedge of cash is coming from as Cora have no revenue streams.... yet.HUB

Share price When CORA came to the market it said that the aim of its drilling programme was to produce Jork compliant resource estimates. It also said that existing funds were sufficient for that purpose. So far the exploration results that we have been told about all relate to reconnaissance drilling. Such drilling aims to prioritize future exploration and is done at intervals that are too far apart for the purpose of preparing Jork resource estimates. I suspect that until we get some good results from targets selected for infill drilling the share price will remain stuck within something like the current trading range. The key issue on which we have had no guidance from the company as yet is how much more reconnaissance drilling remains to be done before we start on infill drilling on high priority targets. So far I find progress encouraging and expect to wait a bit longer before we reach the infill drilling stage. In the meantime I keep increasing my holding by modest amounts when the price falls towards the bottom of its trading range.

Tekeledougou Results RNS Surprised this hasn't generated any comment. Looks good to me. And the market by the looks of it. Proximity to Hum plant seems to be key. Up 30% and still got legs by the look of it....

Drill Results Confirm 3.6km Continuous Gold Zone With each drill they are gradually building up quite a sizable resource which is not too far from HUM's Yanfolila processing mine.At this rate they may be able to go it alone but in my opinion, would accelerate sales via HUM's proessing facilities faster and with much less dilution. As most investors already know, HUM own circa 34% of Cora.Considering there are no obvious barriers to gold sales, i'm surprised the market has not priced Cora higher as the risks of gold resource not going to market is low.HUB

Re: Impressive initial results It seems a lot of other people thought the same Franconia, and have bailed out when the anticipated rise didn't come. Shows you how hard it is to predict the market. It all still seems good bet though. The BoD are experienced miners, who have spent decades searching for (and finding) the yellow metal all over Africa. There are a couple of podcast interviews on Voxmarket might be of interest to some. CEO Dr Jon Forster sounds like the good student that always got his homework in on time. But he comes across as brimming with enthusiasm, and what a career he has had. [link] a bit of luck we should be able to look forward to some positive newsflow over the next few monthsPS good call Tony

Re: Impressive initial results I would have thought there might have been some buying after these results but it seems to be about where it was last week.....maybe a "slow burner"?

took the gain 4.1% banked at 17.26p It is still high risk and speculative at this stage.
