Topped up I've added 30% to my holding this a.m. The price may sink again, but the value is there, in my opinion......

Re: Correction Well the market's seem to like it - up ~6% at the moment.Personally, I'd be happy if it was overlooked for a bit longer as I'd rather like to accumulate more at these prices...........

Greyinvestor 22 Sep 2015

Correction I've actually understated the divi. Historically it's more like 17p, giving a yield of around 10%. I forgot that I'd reduced it, to allow for a lower paying year this year.......

Excellent results I have decent chunk of these shares, bought at an average of around £1.80.I think that the results are fine, and support my view that the shares are decent value, albeit rather cyclical and dependent on new flotations.Revenue £53m v £65m, on a small reduction in flotations plus one very large one.PBT £18.6m v £23mEPS 26p v 31pInterim Divi 7p v 7pProposed £8m share buy back, in addition to buying 9% of the shares in Januray. So on the face of it, the numbers have got worse. But you have to remember that last year was an outstanding year, and most importantly that the EPS forecast for the whole of this year is 27p! They've clocked 26p already.Net assets are about £40m. There is £48m in the bank.I think that the divi is a bit mean. A 5% increase would have been nice. But even a frozen divi = a 7.1% income at the pre open price. Share buy backs benefit the board more than shareholders. So what about value? Current market cap is about £100m. If the company made only £25m in the full year, that would seem insanely cheap. But with £40m of net assets, you could argue that the company is valued at only £60m. And it could make £30m profit! In my view, this company is the cheapest on the UK market, in value terms. It's a Strong Buy for me. But DYOR, this is just my opinion.

Re: Results soon Results just released.Looks pretty good to me, but what will the market think ?

Re: Bought in today My buy limit order finally triggered this morning at 168. Time will tell ...MM

Results soon Results at end September should be very good as they have been involved in over £1.5 Billion worth of fundraising since January. Yes £1.5 Billion-check their website. That should mean a lot of fees and profit plus an excellent divi I expect.Should make the shares move back up to a sensible price.

Re: Bought in today It looks like I am continuing my normal policy of buying in one day early and selling one day late, lol. The losses have mounted over the last two weeks so I am now sitting on my hands until the market settles. Today's fall has been particularly painful but I am in no rush to realise a loss.Casa.

Re: Bought in today The market appears to have emulated England's batting performance - so much for talking about improving my batting average!Having said that, it's also evident that the price fall for CNKS (and many others) has been driven by the market makers rather than sellers as the volumes are still low. So I'm more inclined to think that we are entering bargain territory. The only question is whether it will be better still tomorrow.Or maybe there is an argument that during the current gyrations, the demand for CNKS services will be subdued. Perhaps, but it is more likely that IPOs would be deferred than forever cancelled, IMV.A time for strong nerves - and good gin! Good luck to allMM

Re: Bought in today km1,There doesn't appear to be a reason for CNKS's stability other than the sp has fallen significantly already. Maybe the market is catching up with CNKS as it is now down 4.39%. What a bargain .....maybe. Casa.

Re: Bought in today I see stocks mostly across the board dropping and CNKS holding firm, anybody know why?

Re: Bought in today Paul Scott has been saying over the past few days how pricing anomalies often occur during the low-volume dog-days of August, throwing up opportunities. Perhaps this is one.In general, I like reading PS's blog. His approach and analysis appear rational and insightful. Which isn't to say he's omniscient - he can't be - but I think he could help improve my batting average.MM

Re: Bought in today Hello Broncomaniac,i also held QPP for a while. It was quite a thrill for a time. However, I wasn't aware of RT's background until I read a report by Paul Scott. The report was scathing so I tried to take issue with him through Motley Fool. I received short shrift which amounted to ..."well, it's your money....." I attempted to query his short reply but without success. I became very uneasy about QPP after that and I eventually sold out at a small loss. Oddly, I could have made a decent profit but if I lose confidence in management, it is time to exit. I have done the same with VLK for the same reason. I am not aware of any problems with CNKS's management I hasten to add.Casa.

Re: Bought in today Half year results were released on September 19th last year, so about another month to wait. That could put a stop to the slide, some tough comparatives though. I'd like to buy more a this level, but I don't really want to increase my weighting. My Quindell experience still stings

Re: Bought in today Hello MrMeerkat,The fundamentals look all wrong when you consider the falling sp. I guess many pi's have been let down in the past due to CNKS's lumpy figures. M and A's are forecasted to increase from now on due to many Companies having cash piles. If so, let's hope CNKS obtains its fair share. Casa.
