Half year report Yes quite a relief that things seem to be going in the right direction, even after the rights issue the debt level is still high.

Half year report well received by the market . a bit of a relief really…CINE took us from a comfy place to a more risk on situation with the purchase of REGAL and the debt that came within , but so far so good, happy to hold

Re: Todays Drop in SP "Err... the Rights issue price is 157p..." Er, yes - spot on NK! Mea culpa... as suggested, I went back to check the statement earlier, but then memory playing tricks...So an "equivalent" starting price of 229p, then - so we are up quite nicely, in a falling market.FWIW I don't hold this one, though have followed it for years - now potentially interesting to me once more.

Re: Todays Drop in SP thanks for pointing this out nk1999i suspect bill was confusing £1.7 billion with £1.70 ... an easy mistake to make in this post truth era.to correct my formulae please substitute 628 for 680

Re: Todays Drop in SP Bill: "Quick sums - 4 for 1 rights @170p"Err... the Rights issue price is 157p.

axolotl 05 Feb 2018

pre-rights calculation Yes Bill, that's about right. To help people convert between pre-rights and ex-rights prices here's what to do:To get the equivalent ex-rights price add 680 to the pre-rights price and then divide by 5Going the other way, multiply the ex-rights price by 5 then subtract 680.
