Re: Results Yup, looked pretty good to me, and the market clearly likes it too, on reasonably heavy volume. Nice that the pension remains in surplus. The sting in the tail of this winter might help Q2 as well - I'm still feeding my ewes quite a lot of concentrate as the grass is barely moving, especially after yesterday's mini blizzard, which should also help fuel sales etc. The new mill continues to pay its way and more, and retail appears to be steaming. Carr's is by far my largest holding, so I won't be adding any more, but i'm certainly not selling either.

Re: Results Can't argue with that analysis, I wasn't expecting much, if any, growth and may well top back up if they drop back a bit from what they were presumably pretty quickly marked up to.

Results The half year results were much better than I had thought they would be and outlook is also good. the strength of the US dollar is helping, especially since the US operations are going well.. Pleased to see the co. is not panicking over engineering which I am sure will come right. If I did not already have quite a big holding(for me), I would buy more. Sound core holding.
