Re: CAD vs AFR comparison Looking at mcescher posts he seems to be spamming with links to that website to 10's of different boards. He probably works for them.

Re: Interesting stuff Is this the cousin of Guido Fawkes, who tried blowing up Parliament? The other guy must be related to Peter Benetti, ex-Chelsea goalkeeper but is using 'the family's' full name of Benedetti. Whatever the case this is one dog of a company!

miltonboy 01 Jul 2015

down 14%, with no comment, news??? wondering after the event what this is about.

desertprincess 29 Jun 2015

Interesting stuff If the news are all good remains to be seen:Having Des Pallieres out is a blessing. But Guido Michelotti (ex-ENI guy) appears to be the CEO of Schwarzfield fund which ...tataaa... was founded and is controlled by Alessandro Benedetti. The same Benedetti who resigned as a director a couple of years ago and whose "friends" happen to be the 4 largest shareholders in the company. Since when is Methorios Capital LLP the largest shareholder in CAD?

Result of AGM - RNS Thank you to the new Company Secretary. As the total votes cast were59,055,628That means at least two of the top three holders did not vote.Methorios Capital LLP (SPQR Capital Holdings SA )67,298,498Mr Pierre Salik40,550,000Mr Michel Meeus26,000,000---------- --------It will be interesting to see if the new CEO (once he has had time to look at the books) buys a token number of shares as a signal that he sees the potential value at Cadogan.Get some while they’re still cheap.

Stonefold 25 Jun 2015

Where is the Result of AGM RNS ? With the voting totals - It used to be released on the same day as the AGM.

Re: copy form LSE RNS“……The Company announces that it has today appointed Guido Michelotti as its Chief Executive Officer and as a Director. An Oil & Gas executive with over 30 years' of experience in total, Mr Michelotti spent more than 10 years in senior executive roles with eni, leading e&p companies and overseeing equity production of hundreds of thousands of boe per day………..”Someone’s going to have to alter their expectations of what is a normal production level. I’m keeping an open mind.Perhaps some of the recent share buying was from fans of Mr Michelotti?

KNEES 25 Jun 2015

copy form LSE Recent interest in this shareThere has been a plethora of activity in the recent days but little or no comment on this board. Someone must have some idea about the spark that set off this activity?? For months there was little or no trading and now we see a couple of million shares turned over and a gently rising share price. Politically not a lot has changed, the price of fossil fuels has been none too exciting for producers or explorers so whats going on? Answers on a post card please with copies on this board.

Re: Fools Paradise Correct, nearly two staff per barrel, so one to roll it up the hill and one to roll it back down again. You are right that the problems in Ukraine have nothing to do with CAD. All areas of operation are well outside the conflict zone. There may be some indirect effects like ministers, laws, taxes etc constantly changing but nothing beyond that and they should NOT be allowed to get away with using the situation as an excuse for non-performance

Re: Letter to Chairman of the Board Apologies for taking so long to reply to this but I was trying to find out and have actually found very little, maybe as there is so little thereNot very much to report. As far as I can see, my understanding on it is as follows (and if they don't like what I say then I would ask the company to respond and with verifiable facts not just remarks): - Actual drilling activity is minimal. Every now and then they drill a hole at Debeslavetke to justify their existence but nothing is found (you refer to this as "fake business" or recycle some seismic data, and then they publish a barely intelligible RNS or similar- They seem to be involved in some kind of trading activity. It is murky and not explained properly anywhere. However it does seem to keep the cash balance level (i.e. cash in equals cash out) - Certain directors would appear to have delegated most of what little work there is to local staff who they supervise from time to time. However they continue to draw salaries on a full time basis for what is effectively part time work thus leaving them free to pursue other interests. - Lev Furst has been a massive disappointment. He spoke very nicely at the AGM two years' ago about keeping shareholders informed. If anyone is going to the AGM tomorrow (I will not be) then please remind him of this - Likewise other directors such as those from ENI spoke very nicely but we do not see anything concrete and no hope of meaningful production - The buying by the two Bahaman companies looks odd, firstly as the two are lumped together - normally you would see the expect to see the shareholdings listed separately, and secondly, if you google these companies, then their holdings in CAD would appear to be the only meaningful investments which they haveDes Pallieres' resignation can only be a good thing. However it does not look so much of a resignation as a moving sideways. In any event the sp rose 30% on the announcement! If anyone is going to the AGM then please do ask a question referring back to the shareholders' letter of 2013 and what progress have they made

Re: Well, well, well.... we will be the last to know, I think we have a leak as some bought £10k followed by a £5k,we just have to suck it and see, as the actress said to the bishop

2partacus 12 Jun 2015

Well, well, well.... What be going on here then?It doesn't seem to be huge volumn of trades (unless there is going to be some late reported ones) but 20% increase.

Re: Fools Paradise 2.0 I didn't know that Pierre Salik was a Director? I thought Meeus was. One thing is certain: the main shareholders and even directors are all friends of Benedetti.
