Mathematics is science, frog! I see your one of the gulliable PR brigade. “Exposure to diversity is the catalyst that will ignite tolerance, acceptance and understanding.”

How the markets really work This guy explains beautifully how the markets have changed from a 1980´s fundamentalist base to debt based market driven concept. This is why another 2008, is highly probable where it would have been seen a once in a life-time event in the 1980´s. This is good stuff!

Mathematics is science, frog! Good morning Sara, Its no surprise that you don’t believe in climate change despite the weight of scientific evidence. Puts you in the same camp as Farage and The Groper and many other right-wingers. I guess that you get your views from social media and oddball websites. Cheers, Frog

Mathematics is science, frog! Don’t believe in climate change, but I do believe that pollution is a huge problem that could certainly affect weather & climate. You have changes in the magnetic north pole which could certainly affect pressures & jet streams. The earth´s climate is always changing that´s called weather.

Mathematics is science, frog! Thanks for your reply Sara, sad as it is. Perhaps all these politicians are attending to the science and the maths and don’t want their country’s children become unnecessarily poorly, damaged or die when effective vaccinations are available. By the way, what is your position on climate change? Cheers, Frog in a tree

frog_in_a_tree 07 May 2019

Mathematics is science, frog! Hi Sara, It seem that politicians across the world can understand the science of maths. I am not sure about you though. We have had The Groper expressing alarm about the growing number of measles cases in the US. Clearly he does not want to cop the blame after his previous anti-vacc statement ahead of second term elections. Above, I posted the UK’s Matt Hancock’s message that compulsory vaccination hasn’t been ruled out here. In today’s Guardian is reporting that Germany is considering fining parents who refuse to vaccinate their children the sum of 2,500 euros. Brng it on Germany. Cheers, Frog in a tree

The next world catastrophe SaraRacano: It’s like these “envirionmentalists” who stick themselves to Shell’s HQ but most of these protestors will have cars, consume tons of plastics & consume loads of energy themselves, many of them will not be immune from using airports. I’m not sure how your last post had anything to do with the previous posts to be honest… so far from “It’s like these…”.

Mathematics is science, frog! the Guardian – 4 May 19 Matt Hancock ‘won’t rule out’ compulsory vaccinations Those who spread anti-vaccine messages have ‘blood on their hands’, says health secretary Cheers, Frog

The next world catastrophe It’s like these “envirionmentalists” who stick themselves to Shell’s HQ but most of these protestors will have cars, consume tons of plastics & consume loads of energy themselves, many of them will not be immune from using airports. If anyone knows the lawer who stuck herself to Shell HQ perhaps they could put this question to her, What they are in fact doing is protesting against themselves, stupidity or oximoronic? These climate protestors need to be pushing for a change in human consciousness, good luck with that.

The next world catastrophe SaraRacano: Don’t forget the likes of Los Angeles are built on to all effects & purposes desert (7mm of rain a yea). The same problem is happening in Spain, where you have an estimated 500,000 illegal bore holes. Some parts of eastern Spain, where the tomatoes are grown are incredibly arid it´s only these bore holes that keep the whole industry alive. The whole Med side is incredibly agricultural. All you’re really saying is that humans are very wasteful in how they use water… and that the aquifers that some have been exploiting for decades and that replenish on a far greater cycle length than they are consuming it… will have to find alternative sources else move on. I don;t have a great deal of sympathy for people who exploit or destroy irreplaceable resources then moan about it… and actually blame it on “the environmentalists”… as some of them were doing… it really is quite staggering their stupidity.

The next world catastrophe SaraRacano: The central plains of the U.S. were just that, dust bowls. That´s the biggest question can agriculture survive with current methods of production. PS Where does the top soil come from? Another great speach by a South African farmer about why farm land has been destroyed by humans. This is incredible I don´t know if it is true. I’m not sure where to start Sara without writing a lot… which I’m not sure I can be bothered to do. Firstly, re: “The central plains of the U.S. were just that, dust bowls”… this was caused by farmers extending their farms into the prairies and covering large extents of it in wheat ie. they removed the natural vegetation (largely drought-resistant grasses but also bushes and trees) via ploughing. The SA Farmer is largely right of course in what he says… but he constantly mixed up the source and causes of the issues with solutions. He only went back as far as the 70s with his examples. So what was the flora and fauna of the continent prior to the Europeans arriving about 500-600 years ago? ie. what was ‘natural’ then under a similar climate as today? And what was the flora and fauna over longer periods of time? If you go back 300 million years… South Africa was under glaciers. The chap gave an examples of what happened if you suddenly leave land on it’s own… and do nothing… after years of Farmers slowly destroying all the natural vegetation then moving on… unsurprisingly, it doesn’t just recover… it degrades and desertification (as he calls it) happens. But he didn’t say what would happen if you planted natural vegetation back… and protected it whilst iy established… then totally just left it alone. The chap is basically a Farmer of cattle… with a Cattle Farmer’s answer to an issue.

Some parts of eastern Spain, where the tomatoes are grown are incredibly arid it´s only these bore holes that keep the whole industry alive. The whole Med side is incredibly agricultural. Locaised? This is the heart of the U.S. food industry. As the film explains the farms have virtually gone through the biggest aquifer in North America. The film stated that this was entirely man made. The central plains of the U.S. were just that, dust bowls. That´s the biggest question can agriculture survive with current methods of production. PS Where does the top soil come from? The next world catastrophe @SaraRacano This is not a “world catastrophe”… this is a localized issue happening in parts of the US. It is also entirely man-made and caused by: the increasing use of water for the agricultural and farming industry (the main culprit) expansions of towns and cities. For decades they have destroyed the natural hydrology of the area: destroyed rivers, re-routed rivers, create canal systems to feed otherwise arid areas etc. If you look up the Central Valley Project in the US then you will see what they have done… or read an old book called: The San Joaquin: A River Betrayed. This is what happens when you have expanding human populations and where the surface water management is poor to non-existent.
