RNS I hope the market reacts positively but nothing happened after the proactive article. For me this is just more delay. My dignity this Christmas will be intact but I may save the daffodil for Christmas 2020 if I'm still capable.I don't know why they just don't put Parys up for sale now and be done with it.

Parys eco study demonstrates viability Well here's some positive news, possibly, maybe.[link] find it difficult to believe too much, until the roar of Caterpillar Tractors disrupt the peaceful countryside!Return estimated at $270,000,000. With 177,610,000 shares in issue that amounts to $0.66which is Pds 0.51 pence per share as I write. What can possibly go wrong?

Re: Iron Ore Flying Perhaps we, as shareholders, need to find ourselves a Tiny Rowland (LONRHO) type as a CEO who could come in, crash bang wallop and make things happen. There must be a mining genius out there who could cure all our ills and make AYM a dynamic mining conglomerate at about $15 a share. QED

Re: Iron Ore Flying Brit are you thinking about LIM? Remember LIM could not turn a profit when Iron ore was $130 per tonne. The Sweden mine and Parys need start up capital. I'm not sure this BOD have got what it takes to seize the opportunity of the ZInc price either. The best option is to find a buyer for Parys imho. Very disappointing performance.

Iron Ore Flying [link] China is cracking down on Enviroment,Heres an excerpt:Beijing's policies to clean up and consolidate the domestic steel industry is playing into the hands of iron ore exporting countries. Low grade furnaces – particularly those that use scrap – have been outlawed and authorities are also clamping down on sintering plants.Sintering is a necessary extra step when using low grade ore (domestic Chinese iron content averages only about 20%) and pelletizing plants using fines or iron ore concentrates have also been fingered as polluters by Beijing.Fines drive the iron ore price and it makes up the bulk of supply, but producers of so-called "lump" ore enjoy a little more breathing room.Lump ore can be loaded directly into blast furnaces, is easier to handle during transportation and can be shipped during wet seasons (liquefaction can be an issue with the shipment of iron ore fines during wet weather). Wonder if Sweden or Canada will get in on the act?Cheers

Re: From the BBC [link] here's the original article to support the BBC proclamation, and it goes into some more details about prices and consumption.Come on AYM don't miss this party!

From the BBC Mining and commodities group Glencore reckons the key to its future success could be electric vehicles. It said it expected the increased take-up of electric vehicles and demand for storage to boost demand for its products. Glencore chief executive Ivan Glasenberg said: "The potential large-scale roll-out of electric vehicles and energy storage systems looks set to unlock material new sources of demand for enabling underlying commodities, including copper, cobalt, zinc and nickel."I know where they can find at least two of those!

Re: Soon in the money! I believe you can add Canadian Zinc Corp., Sonora Gold Corp. and Xtierra Inc to that list. Thinking of buying back into Anglesey having sold out years ago. Good luck all.

Re: Soon in the money! Mr. Tatty,When our CEO can stop with the cocktail circuit, we might get something going.Just as a reminder for those that don't know so much about John Kearney, here are some of the companies he has affiliations with according to BLOOMBERG.Guess it must be something of a Scattergun approach, and one of them will make him very wealthy in retirement.LETS HOPE IT IS AYM...Tahera Diamond CorporationAnglesey Mining plcMinco plcConquest Resources Ltd.Shahuindo Gold LimitedThe University of DublinFQM Scandinavia Ltd.Vatukoula Gold Mines plcAvnel Gold Mining LimitedParagon Minerals Corp.Labrador Iron Mines Holdings LimitedXtierra Inc.Blackwater Capital Corp.

Re: Soon in the money! Hello BritCorrect I am a gambling man and I like a good laugh so investing here serves both. If they start digging I'd expect a minimum of 15p. I'd then hope someone who knows how to run a profitable mine would make an offer of 30p. Dream on eh? Labrador is a total disaster as they couldn't turn a profit when iron ore was 130 dollars (at least they dug some up). The Scandinavian project may never produce. Its about time the BOD DELIVERS from Parys. 20 years and nothing produced.

Riddle me this? As I write this, c584k shares traded at a spread of 2.75-3.25. Only 100 shares apparently sold and 584k bought. If those figures were reversed would the spread still be where it started?

Re: Soon in the money! Tatty,If you were a gambling man, which you must be, considering your penchant for Running the Daffodil, where do you think the SP could top out at on the day of the first sod of earth being turned?Perhaps we ought to have a members prediction price, with the prize being "I told you so" and the glory of being smarter than the average crazy investor!

Re: RNS It would seem that the fly by nights have all flown. They expected to make a killing in days when many of us have been waiting years for a positive move. It's just a shame that whenever there is what I perceive to be good news the sp plummets. Probably just demonstrates what I know about share trading (nothing). Perhaps one day my children (or maybe grandchildren) will be rich on the back of my holding.

RNS "We trust that your patience and support will soon be recognised and rewarded". Rarely have I seen a more diplomatically worded understatement!Pity the market reaction is -4%.
