Re: How the mighty has fallen Incidentally morgleman2 I understand a shareholder action group has been started here with the purpose of questioning the management and removing them.(I have no connection with them I am merely advising you or other interested parties as it has been bought to my notice by them.).While the Investors Chronicle clearly got it wrong in their tip, unfortunately 99% of tips re financial sector made pre financial crisis proved wrong from RBS downwards,It is the ALPHA management team that have been running this can of worms and have been and still are extracting millions for their inept service.Their record elsewhere in other funds also appears truly dire.

How the might has fallen I owned these because Investors Chronicle kept pushing them at launch 100p, now a penny stockWhat does that say about so called tipsters6 July 2007:- The Alpha Pyrenees Trust is a high dividend property fund eligible for an Isa or Sipp. The income is linked to a construction price index, which has been surging ahead due to to the strong demand for raw materials from India and China. The fund, launched in November 2005, has attracted little attention with its shares trading below the float price of 100p but it has potential for good net asset value growth and a fund manager with an impressive pedigree. Buy

Re: Recovery stock of 2015 Barx will not be pulling any plugs, they still have regulatory capital ratios they need to meet and do not want distressed property on their books. there are plenty of finance options available and the most likely outcome is there is a punitive interest rate for the re-finance in feb 2015.This is still trading at 20% of its NAV, and possibly 5% of its future NAV. that is because there are risks involved, but the potential upside is worth taking the risk.I was short here until 2 weeks ago, I am now long and looking to buy more. my cards are on the table. Just out of interest are you still short here. I have nothing against shorting as long as people are honest about their position which helps other understand why they post.On another note, is BHY about to turn or is it worth staying long IYO
