Re: Too ..... something .... Graphene condoms are being developed. here are just two links about them:[link] as for water desalination and filtering, it has been proposed for reverse osmosis water treatment methods, but forward osmosis is what Modern water is about, and their process is around 75% cheaper on power usage than forward osmosis is.However, I agree;: there are so many wonder uses proposed for graphene, but they need to be practical, and capable of making a profit; which many are not at this time. Graphene batteries show promise - and there is already a product out there for charging 'phones etc. (Vorbeck Industries, if you want to research this) - but it's a long way between idea and profit, and many fall at the wayside before the end of the journey. So ... I think people now are aware and are moving on, and waiting until something concrete (yes, graphene has been proposed as a high strength lightweight substitute here too, lol) breaches reality.A good graphene based investment, IMHO, is CVD Equipment Corporation, headquartered in the US. They already have products out there that are selling and making money. Take a look at:[link] me, whilst the seive and spade makers get richer than the gold prospectors who buy their produce, at this time it is the product makers that are making it from graphene right now.Disclosure: long CVD Equipment. Too ..... something .... From what i have read in the Graphene arena, it seems Graphene product and application developers are trying to be too clever ...I mean , Graphene is clever enough stuff in itself .... but to make money , and a return on investment, the applications need to be simple and marketable, and profitable .... ( conversely, geeky and smart, and sophisticated applics may be intellectually rewarding, but they will not make much money .... unless its an incredible new innovation itself )How about then ..... Graphene Condoms ????Graphene mosquito nets ???Water filtering and desalination ???? ( ie with Modern Water ?? )SAGE
