Re: IMM Ripley, I live in the fast lane. You’re not supposed to keep up with me, you can’t.I sold this share in January when the uptrend broke down. That’s my Sell strategy. I must’ve mentioned it along with other sales under a general heading. The reason I’m not being more specific because the amount of money involved was minimal thus not worth mentioning as such.A lot of the shares I’m buying in bulk are small entry amounts and when the uptrend breaks down and I have to sell, my losses of around £50-80 are NOT worth mentioning. I mean I’m not hiding anything, it’s just not worth it.My advice to you, if I may, is keep going and don’t concern yourself with beer tokens. And try to establish an effective strict stop loss strategy for your fallers in future. Don’t allow losses to accumulate. This is well worth doing, I promise you with my hand on heart.Good luck, as always.Dr M

Re: my system dr Good to know you do hold shares long term.I always have cash in my account ALWAYS. Minimum is 4% of my portfolio is in cash. Currently it is around 9%. So I’m always ready and able to purchase a new share if the opportunity arises. Some people think it’s a waste holding cash; I disagree. It is imperative that I’m able to buy without having to sell profitable shares.Just meDr M

GAN , RNS, Please Read Please read. H2 is the time when the revenues will materially increase ie like I said all along this share has a timeframe of 6-9 months. We’ll see what happens from now. There needs to be a regular newsflow for this share to carry on doing well for the next few months. It is a BUY if you’re prepared for the volatility in sp and if you’re prepared to ignore detractors like iamsharecrazy, Loadsadough, Lebehnon...etcDYOR Good luck Dr MGAN06 Jun 2018 10:58:16GAN PLCRNS Number : 5000QGAN PLC06 June 2018 LONDON STOCK EXCHANGE (LSE): GAN | IRISH STOCK EXCHANGE (ISE): GAME Update on Legalization of US Internet Sports BettingRe-confirms H2 launch of Internet sports betting in the US London & Dublin HTMLPIPESYMBOL June 6, 2018: GAN plc ("GAN" or the "Company", an award-winning developer and supplier of enterprise-level B2B Internet gaming software, services and online gaming content in the United States, today provides an update following the decision of the Supreme Court of the United States ("SCOTUS" to overturn the previous Federal US prohibition on sports betting enshrined with the Professional and Amateur Sports Protection Act 1992 ("PASPA". my system dr i have long term core holdings 30 the rest are trades using spare cash - like to have cash available - the trades can be cut if the markets look bad so take profits - also cut them if they do not perform.

Re: ETO Dr LebWhat I meant is this. When I buy a share say at 100p, I set a stop loss target say at 92p. Thus, I do sell shares but only if they hit my stop loss target. It may appear I’m trading but I’m not, I’m a forced seller. But unlike traders I don’t set a sell target. I hope and expect the share to continue to rise indefinitely, may be reach £5, so No Sell Target. Thus, crucially, my intention at the point of purchase is to invest NOT to trade.Traders, in contrast, buy at 100p just like me, stop loss like me at 92p but they set a Sell target of 115p and they sell when this is hit within say 3 weeks if they’re lucky. That’s trading NOT investing. That’s what you often do. You hardly have any share in your portfolio that you hold for more than 2 months or so. This is my impression of you. Evidence: Just look at Your American shares you mentioned last night, you’re in and out like a yo-yo, every 2 days !!!LolDr M

ETO Dr ticking up will be adding today - Dr am not a 12% trader. You have a load of sells with £100 losses not sure if you have been hit with profit warnings on some that you have added to - imagine this has happened. You do sell some of yours early - I like to sell some at 30 - 40% if markets are slackening then add back. My stage 4 risers can sell quick if am in profit and think they are stalling may not have reached stage 2. I know that we are in a bull market that is a wary one because we have been in it for so long and don't think it can last. Having some cash up your sleeve is the best policy imv.

MACF WARNING this post is not about a little resources company. So skip now if you wish.[link] Macfarlane Group. The sp chart in link above looks good for a “rising” share. This co is engaged in designing, manufacturing and distribution of packaging products which include self-adhesive labels and warehousing. It operates in the UK, Europe and USA.Market Cap of £170 million, profits up from £7.8 to £9.3 million in 2017, dividend yield of 1.94%, PE of 14, PEG of 1.2 and EPS growth of 12%. Dividend payment day is tomorrow, significance??This may not turn out to be a fast rising share, just a steady Eddie, me thinks. But I like that sometimes. My rating is 2* Solid Buy. Just my opinion, not advice to buy or otherwise. DYOR Dr M
