VOD Hi Moonsurfer VOD trading update tomorrow Tuesday. Barclays analysts rec overweight and price target 265p. I hope they’re right.We need the income seekers to start piling in by the week end to be on the register before ex dividend day in early June. Re: Busy day Hi M51,played golf yesterday, first time since mid December. Golf was terrible but at least I made it around 18 holes on a very tough, hilly course.Then invited to a "Barbie" with West Indian neighbours . They are not happy with Government policy , causing difficulties for people returning to their homes in the UK from holidays .Lovely people. Great grub.Just catching up on the market. I bought KAPE a few days ago. Will look at all the others today and over the weekend. Won't be posting a lot. Other thins on my mind.Appointment with Neuro Surgeon on Friday of next week prior to his report to DVLA. Fingers crossed.Pat is somewhat better after a spinal injection . Early days.Moon

Busy day Many purchases today.PFC bought, thanks Moon for the head up.Repurchased ZOO, I had set a re entry price of 115p but bought today at 100p.New purchases : SPD KAZ GAN DALTop ups FIPP EKT LOOP CREO DSCVFIPP and EKT have done me proud. Bought many months ago and I’m in a very good profit.American shares are recovering strongly, I’m very pleased. Still losing on some, though. Will hold these till Christmas calling them my American Fund if you like. LolGood luck S

American shares MoonI agree with your sentiments regarding American shares. I’m not buying any; I’ve not bought any for ages. I have gainers and losers. I kept most of them except two shares I sold. I retain 24 American shares and will keep till Christmas. They’re acting like a “personal” American fund as it were. Like you, I’m concentrating on uk shares. I’m not bothered about funds; I’m fully covered there except I may top up my Standard Life Global Smaller Companies UT; this is excellent for long term hold. And if you have grandchildren buy them this fund in their Junior ISA, they can’t lose here. Just my opinion. I’ll keep posting here. You don’t have to respond to anything unless you feel a need for it. I’ll post 2-3 times a day or so. It actually helps and allows me to concentrate more on what I’m doing knowing you’ll come back to me if there’s a “blonde” moment. LolMy best wishes. Say hello to Mrs Moonsurfer please. Dr M

Top Ups I topped up my holdings in PLUS, OTB , ISPY etf, IIT inv trust My plan with PLUS has been since 800p share price is to top up every time the sp rises by £1. So at £15 today, I bought. Hopefully next tranche will be at £16.50This policy served me well with FEVR 2 years ago and PRSM last year. When the uptrend breaks down I sell.Good luck Dr M

SUMO [link] bought this digital video games services provider. Only a 2* rating for me. 3* is a moderate buy and 4* is a strong buy.My idea for you Moon is to keep on watch and dip your toe if it rises by 8% from today. That’s normally the figure I use to top up any new rising share that I purchase. A third tranche will be bought at say 18% rise from purchase price.This system doesn’t apply to shares that spike high and low, only for the steady risers continuing to rise after purchase.Good luck Dr M

Shows you how close are our investment methods.That’s why I’m really only predominantly interested in chatting, debating and discussing shares with you and not with anyone else.The ones I don’t hold I’ll keep an eye on them, some I traded before and left on watch ie ZOO ZTF FFX APH HNT CCC. IDEA [link] Moonsurfer Have a look at IDEA , issued a good trading update today.I bought this in December as a rising share/early S2 and topped up. This became a “staller” for me ie no rise or fall by more than 8% over purchase price. I normally hang on to these stallers for three months or their next trading update and then decide what to do.I stayed for 5 months with IDEA because I like what they do which is supply software to help in governance, risk control, compliance ...etc for government departments and corporations. Have a look see what you think. It’s up 6% as I type.CheersDr M
