bombing restarts, truce wont hold careful

rRomeo29 02 Jan 2017

Re: Government agrees truce with rebels Maybe strong neighbors like Qatar and Saudi Arabia will agree that all power should be handed over to the Assad terror regime? Who knows!Maybe sanctions against war criminals in Damascus will suddenly be lifted, bcse it was all just a terrible misunderstanding. Chlorine gas on women and children - he kk, why didn't they stop waving protest flags on the streets : ((Try to understand Assad for a minute: He sitting with his clan in a rat hole on the northern coast of Syria protected by Russian navy. What else could he do? Flee to exile to Russia and live for the rest of his life in Siberia? And one day drop dead once Putin has had enough of him? And then Syria would be taken over by multinationals who would create another success, like Dubai, Qatar or Kuwait?Come on: Be realist!!!Maybe the EU will lift all sanctions within 12 months? Maybe sanctions will be lifted within 12 weeks time - as many investors here seem to hope for? Maybe the entire EU falls apart within 12 weeks and then there are no more sanctions...Very very unlikely!

Re: Save the Children - Syria Crisis App... Calling all traders. If this gets enough ticks up we can set up a just giving page?Post your trades on iii say just 5001 shares (or whatever you can afford to lose and ending in 1). The current value of GPX is just GBP40m its worth GBP200m on production at low oil prices. Then post your profit to just giving minus capital gains TAX unless you ISA it.I can't do this on my own. We need someone to go round all the hardcore forums (GKP, LLOY etc...) and spread the message.I remain out because find the situation sickening but will join in as some one should benefit from the inevitable gain and I rather it be the children

Re: Those chatting Bs be a realist After two weeks up 200% a 30% drop is called profit taking not a crash.Stability will take a while so many investors prefer short term profits .that is me included I sold some at 10p.

Re: Those chatting Bs be a realist Careful, careful Putin terrorrussia, it all comes back to you someday...[link] gunman has shot dead Russia's ambassador to Turkey, Andrei Karlov, apparently in protest at Russia's involvement in the Syrian conflict."Massive loss for Russia that is!

Re: Save the Children - Syria Crisis Appeal If someone is interested in "Bs":Aleppo has been a modern city, held by normal civilians who have never fired a weapon before and by the free Syrian army - soldiers with ranks as high as general - who tried to protect their region from the alawite minority terror regime. The UN plenum claims that syrian people have had the right to defend themselves against the Assad war crime regime. That's all I need to know.Thousands of families fled Aleppo and came to Switzerland, Germany as well as Britain.Ask any of them and you will hear that all of them disagree with the Assad regime. Pick any syrian doctor, academic, engineer, school teacher or family man who now lives in the West, and ask them if Assad is the solution for their country... Assad is a walking dead! He just doesn't know it yet.For as long as his clan of war ciminals remains in power, the West will very unlikely lift Syrian sanctions. The same counts for US sanctions against Iran, who are now is also involved in war crimes.Assad cluster bombs, barrel bombs and chlorine attacks on Aleppo city have targeted syrian civilian protestors - not ISIS. This is why until today the majority of syrian province / eastern province remains isis held.Maybe its true that the US (together with Britain) has had an interest that ISIS spread from Iraq into Syria...? But that's another story.Maybe its true that former PM Tony Blair is culpable of war crimes, because of leading Britain into Iraq war... But that's another story!Whatever the future brings: Assad and his 999 family clan will be held responsible for war crimes.---------"I only had a small punt. have sold my last batch here after buying at 5.2p. Donated the profit into: [link] will rise at some points, but I am out." Johandesilva

Re: Those chatting Bs be a realist Lesson not learnt,Wow, that's quite a price crash today!! Some 17% minus, after your opinion about the stable Assad terror regime. Looks like some people might not trust as much in the Assad terror regime as you do : ))Also interesting to see that you bought GPX in late November. Each to his own investment strategy! Either the skandinavian investment style, looking for sustainability. Or some other approach...
