Re: Re: Again off your good self bobsson in Dec 2016."MQ, Not a write off as they have come back from suspension today. The company was previously touting graphene enhanced oilfield lubricants as the way forward, now it seems they think building materials and graphene enhanced water treatment solutions are going to be big. My hunch is that demand for water purification products could be a big winner if they get it right. But it seems to me as if water and building products are only in their infancy and that oilfield lubricants are not the money spinner the company thought...Own due diligence

Re: Potential Your words bobsson back in only January 2017 and very interestingly back then on this very thread you mentioned "water purification" as well as at the back at the end of 2016. Its in your posting history. That's long before the 4-traders article on GRPHs name being associated with the saltwater to drinking water filter. "There does look like potential for success here, I think water filtration could be a big winner in addition to the drilling fluid additives. But 2017 a transitional year for GRPH, if the company ends it strongly and cleanly then 2018 could be a good year for the sp. IMHO "There may just be a lot more substance to the 4-traders article than some without shares would have you believe. In any case I see another article associated with the GRPH company name has emerged: This time concerning a Graphene phototransistor:[link] looks like a lot of research on the new wonder material of a few years back are all coming together at once. That will fuel demand for graphene.Own due diligence.

Going concern concern I bought these for around 50p! Still hold now, thankfully only a modest stake. The new wonder product/development Graphene appears to have had a lot of publicity lately leading to potential investors searching for any related companies and GRPH seems to have come under the microscope.Primarily GRPH uses graphene in oil field lubricants, so has hit hard financial times as the oil price plummeted and expected demand for its new products were not as anticipated. GRPH is very strapped for cash and has undertaken an emergency step to obtain finance from Darwin who give cash in exchange for shares. There is to be a financial update in the second quarter of 2017, and unless GRPH can sell its non core assets to pay debt and supply cash for the business, there is a real worry that the company may be insolvent very shortly.DYOR before investing here. IMHO NAI

Re: misinformation It's pretty normal for this onewayticket character to go around a huge number of boards spouting half truths and tit bits of miss information along with out & out lies!!! ! Watch out you have been warned ! He is an odious self-serving toad out for himself ... he hides behind this "own due diligence" mantra thinking it exonerates him of any blame! He will sell and start deramping as soon as he has sold !! BE WARNED!!!!!

Re: misinformation I don't see misinformation. I see an article previously listed off 4traders as citing Grph. Then add that the Graphene has to come from somewhere. That plus silence amidst some large rises of the BoD on a 50% one day rise.I cannot disagree that this was being priced to fail but the last GRPH RNS seemed to be pointing to survival, albeit delayed. I think we merely all interpret things as we see and vocalise that. The volume and sustaining of a rise I interpret as some entity buying and with a reason behind that. To me this is one of the 2 above. Regardless any buying is by far outweighing any Darwin conversion rates.Own due diligence

Re: misinformation Spot on !

AuGment 13 Apr 2017

misinformation The extent of the misinformation posted on this board is eye watering. The only reason I can see for the current sp rise is the fact that it is grossly undervalued. The financial challenges facing this company are substantial and many thought it would never return ( as a going concern) from suspension. The fact that it has is a huge achievement which has restored some confidence with investors - but the company is still in a far from a financially stable condition and and prolonged decline in the price of oil could result in a rapid application of gravity to the current elevated sp. Finally GPRH's business is predominantly associated the manufacture of specialist graphene based oilfield chemicals which improve the cost and efficiency with which oil can be recovered. It is not involved with the desalination of sea water.

Re: Volume on the Up Again!! sage,I don't think they need to announce it. 4traders has done it for them. That article quite clearly showed Graphene Nanochem all over it. Personally if it were me I'd save it as there will be plenty opportunity to announce it at more appropriate time. In my book the bigger credit and royalties / revenues will flow to the initial pioneers who got things to this initial stage rather than those getting invited along afterwards like modern water plc. That's just my honest opinion and why I took some skin off the table. Hopefully I get proved wrong.Own due diligence.

Re: Volume on the Up Again!! indeed, .... if the market cap was big enough i might have shorted from the peak and no-news situation ......SAGE

Re: Volume on the Up Again!! Blind gambling going on again today.....no news continues to be deafening....not involved in desalination discovery (Modern Water PLC) no news on sale of non core assets so as it stands GRPH are still in the brown stuff because of the caveats re refunding....sp falling now and if 7p is broken then sell off will become exponential...beware huge spread on buy v sell !!

Once 140p I have been waiting patiently for someone to find some use for this stuff! May I remind you that the share price 4 years ago was £1.40. I bought at 65p and have watched them go down to 4p.Luckily i have recouped my paper losses by buying 15,000 at 4.4p last week.

Please note..... 28 March 2017Modern Water plc(“Modern Water”Modern Water to contribute to cutting-edge graphene researchwith the Masdar Institute and the University of ManchesterModern Water plc (AIM: MWG), the owner of world-leading technologies for water andwastewater treatment and for water quality monitoring, is pleased to announce that it has beenchosen to contribute its design and development capabilities to a new research project run bythe Masdar Institute of Science and Technology and the University of Manchester. The research will examine the viability of using graphene to improve water desalinationtechniques and has been awarded US$ 500,000 funding from the UK government’s Departmentfor Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy in partnership with the British Council.Modern Water will add its knowledge and expertise in water treatment and membrane designto the project. The research division of Veolia, the world-leading environmental services group, has also been selected to take part in the research. The aim of the project is to design and engineer nano-structures for graphene-based electrodesand membranes and look to develop systems for desalination and water purification applications.Emerging capacitive deionization and membrane-based desalination technology are believed tohave the potential to help meet global water demands in a more energy-efficient manner.Integrating the nano-structured hierarchical graphene into the electrodes and membrane ishoped to overcome the limiting factors of conventional materials by lowering energyconsumption, increasing water production efficiency and reducing membrane fouling.Dr Linda Zhou, professor of Chemical and Environmental Engineering at the Masdar Institute, said: “[O]ur main objective is to develop a two-dimensional materials-based solutions fordesalination and water purification in the form of a next-generation graphene-based electrodesand membranes. Our end goal is to transfer these research outcomes into water technologiesso we can have a real-world impact on the global issue of water security.”Simon Humphrey, CEO of Modern Water commented: “We are delighted to take part in suchexciting research in an area which could be of great value to future water treatment and supply. We are confident that our leading know-how in membrane processes and desalination will be ofsignificant benefit to the project and we are looking forward to working alongside our newresearch colleagues.”For further information, please see [link] on our website to receive regular updates on Modern Water plc by email:[link] further information please contact:Notes to Editors:About Modern WaterModern Water owns, installs and operates world-leading membrane technology and develops and suppliesadvanced systems for water monitoring.
