Thanks for the update on the XTR presentation, looks all to be very good and the riskfactor in Alluvial mining is then the reason for what others called a bad deal!
Well there should be News this week about O"Kiep and Carolusberg copper option.
The good News about Chépica is that the not mined gold is still there, and that the new access will be more resistant to rough conditions. The focus is of course on this operation. I hope that in future reporting the JV Manica will be treated seperately from the rest of Manica because at presente I see a lot of unnnecessary confusion on this issue.
Sound strategy, de-risk, add to the portfolio and move on to locating the next project.
It looks to me that the JV in Manica makes sense in the overall situation XTR is in at presente not in the least seriously affected from a cashflow point of view by the earthquake in Chile. Knowing the way JN Works I am certain that there are other and more developments brewing over which he can not say anything as yet.
My cristal ball tells me that we can expect na rns first thing on 20/10 giving us News on Chépica with a better performance in 3rd qtr and maybe new developments there, news on O'Kiep and Carolusberg copper tailings, Manica update and na explanation as to why they are already drilling there. There also maybe some details about plans for financing copper and gold operations in Ãfrica! Exciting times ahead and keep na eye on PAF!
The grapevine tells me that there are something like 228 contracts for the same piece of gold negociated via COMEX, can you imagine what happens if contract holders all demand psysical delivery? Watch movements leading up to 20/10!
This always looks way too cheap for what's on the horizon to me. History here plays a big part but it's a whole different company..
I'm in for the long term but it is annoying that what looks a good thing seems very unstable easily knocked down with no real support
