Re: 20% rise on no news I wouldn't get too excited Mr P . . . it looks like it's just a reflection of the massive spread in this share with the latest transaction being a buy of 1500 shares at 9.975p (costing a massive £150) compared to a sale earlier in the day of 223 shares a 8p (yielding a massive £18 before transaction fee).If anyone on the BoD ever reads this BB, please could we have some news about what's going on in respect of the license application.

Re: On the brink... Hello Matt,Well, they of course fired the secretaries to save costs. Smart. But they could hold presentations without any costs. So we are intentionally being kept in the blind here.Possibly Mr Beams also is not up-to date with the latest marching plan. Why not call our cornerstone investor to ask what their vision is?They have largely invested in NRR, as did we all.The least they can do is share their thoughts with us.Mr Sawyer and Mr Haworth, please be so kind to inform us. Thanks LexFor anyone not willing to wait for further info, feel free to contact them at their office in Mayfair. All contact info is on the net.Greenstone Resources LP, Mayfair, London,

Re: On the brink... According to the interim results its fund raising in July 2016 "left the Company effectively debt free and with US$2.5 million in working capital to support project work programmes in the second half of the year."Why the BoD decided to continue with the drilling programme until December 2016 is beyond me.Its most recent RNS (12 Dec 2016) stated: "¡§The Company continues to discuss the granting of the mining licence for the Namib Project with the Ministry of Mines and Energy, and is in the process of providing further detail to support the proposal submitted to the Ministry in April 2016 on meeting the new Mining Licence conditions. Cash preservation remains a priority and the Company has further reduced corporate overheads and put next step resource development and drilling plans on hold until there is clarity on the timing of moving the project forward to a construction decision. A lower run rate level of expenditure going into 2017 will extend the available timeframe for the Company to firm up a development plan for the Namib Project or redefine the corporate strategy."In relation to the licence:On the one hand there is NRRP's RNS on 12 August 2016 stated "Certain obligations under the draft Bill are inconsistent with those laid down under the terms & conditions to the Notice of Preparedness to Grant. The extent to which the NEEEF Bill would place additional obligations on the Namib Project remains unclear. It is an area on which the Company and Namibian mining industry as a whole will seek and need further clarity in due course."Whilst, on the other hand, there are historic Namibian media reports of Namibian ministerial comments:Feb 2016 article: "Namibia wants new laws passed within a year compelling mining firms to have a minimum 20 percent stake reserved for the black majority, before issuing or renewing prospecting and mining licences as part of an empowerment drive to fight poverty, the mines minister said on Thursday."; &June 2016 article: ¡§North River has accepted the conditions, but with other proposals of their own. The conditions are statutory in nature and are not negotiable, as they appear to think. They are required to meet those conditions, before the physical mining license is issued,¡¨Can't find anything about when NEEEF / NEEEB will be enacted and it would also seem that NRRP isn't particularly bothered about keeping its shareholders adequately informed about what's happening.„h

On the brink... Do you think NR is the brink of bankruptcy? No one answers the phone at the office. Emails to James, etc. remain unanswered. Investor calls stopped after the promise that they'd be regular. There's no plan - that I can see - for what to do with the lack of the mining licence? Are they just looking to shut up shop?

Re: What's up, doc? Unfortunately I think the SP gives the answer. The management team do not have a clue what going on and all investor confidence has been lost. If they do get granted a license by some miracle who's likely to stump up the substantial mine development cost after the fiasco they've been through so far. there's far better investment opportunities out there for new money. No sorry to say this ones dead. The only consolation is that the license grant may produce a spike to get out on.

Re: What's up, doc? Almost 2 years and 10 months since the licence was applied for.Over a year since the Ministry issued the notice of preparedness to grant the licence.Almost 10 montbs since EPL 2902 expired (ministry website lists it as 'pending renewal').9 montbs since EPL 5075 expired (ministry website lists it as 'pending renewal').7 months since the last of the promised QUARTERLY investor conference calls.Almost 2 months since the last RNS.Does anyone have any idea what is going on?

Re: What's up, doc? As I did and destroyed all the profit I'd made and some more. Think my breakeven is a little more acceptable at around £2. Who cares - ive now written this off as a bad mistake. on the plus side im still with uranium and have done very well with BKY and the Geiger Counter Trust

Re: What's up, doc? You should be so lucky......my break even with their re-jigging is £3.69, so I am looking for £4 at least PLEASE. Optimist, who? Me ? Bought in on the back of Kalahari buy out and regretted it ever since !

Mr Papillon 13 Jan 2017

Re: What's up, doc? Which if the do (know news) and it's not been reported, that is insider trading isn't it?Mr PPS I am complaining as this has swallowed a lot of my cash. If I make half back I won't be to quick to complain but it needs to go north of one pound sterling to do that.

reingeneration 12 Jan 2017

What's up, doc? Very strange goings on but I'm not complaining. No rhyme, no reason but trades going through today at 9.7. Is it being manipulated as there is no sign of any news unless someone knows something about the licence ???
