Re: North Let's not get ahead of ourselves and get to at least 1p first to get rid of that outrageous 00 before the decimal point !

Sumuka 23 Feb 2016

Re: North - Suhari You and me. I first got in at 4.11p !! Still horrific average of 1.73p.

4 Days to go! As previously announced, the Company received from the Ministry of Mines and Energy in Namibia a Notice of Preparedness to Grant the mining licence for the Namib Lead and Zinc Project subject to a number of conditions. The Company has until the 28th February 2016 to accept the Notice and then 60 days to submit proposals in relation to these licence conditions. The proposals need to be agreed with the Ministry ahead of the issue of the mining licence. The notice is dated 28 January 2016 and more details pertaining to that can be read on the Company website. Let's hope not too many proposals and this can get signed off quickly..Good time are coming.

Re: North - Suhari Why leave on a loss, if the licence gets signed off? This has potential?

Suhari 22 Feb 2016

Re: North - Suhari Good spot! Now 2p would be very nice indeed; having first jumped in at around 4p.......!

Sumuka 22 Feb 2016

Re: North - Suhari He/she is saying 2p not 0.2p !! 1p and I'm out at a significant loss.

Suhari 22 Feb 2016

Re: North Would hope that's the case....that was what the last placing was at.

Re: North With Licence sealed, we could be looking at 2p?

North Now this is a sight for sore eyes. A good movement for once. Let's hope we have at last turned the corner.

A rise to Par? Whilst it's gratifying to see holders of this share see some comeback of the SP - before anyone gets too carried away - this price today is less than half the par value of the share. This means that the company cannot raise capital unless it is raised by shareholders/ New Investors at a large Premium to the price which would be paid in the Market.Western Areas - a large shareholder in FinnAust did this recently - but they are as rare as hens teeth & the MD takes no salary....There was the recent conference on all things Mining in South Africa over the last month, Indaba - Perhaps a trip was made by NRR, how much return did shareholders get for this? - it would have been good to see our MD comment in interviews etc, or perhaps a meeting or visit to speak of?- anyone know?Perhaps Mr Beams saved us money & stayed at home - knowing full well that a licence to extract commodities at more than the sale price is somewhat odd. The main concession we should see from Namibia is the allowance that NRR doesn't have to build the mine straight away - because in a short life mine we would just about dig enough out to satisfy the bond holder ( GStone) & pay all the back interest that is accruing. However - delaying the project also allows the bonds to be converted, just at a time when the current $1695 a tonne for Zinc may be higher & the lions share of the profit diverted. So, far from the building of a mid tier mining group that should be busy acquiring projects and building a real, strong company for the good of all of us shareholders. We are given a smalldrilling Metreage and kept in the dark. - anyone seen the Chairman? Wonder what the pay rate is? - Maybe he went to Indaba? We hope to be proven wrong. GLA.FLU.Disclosure: shareholders in FAM.

Looks like the rise to licence Nice entry

Re: RNS yep good rns, shame I am 90% down...lol

Mr Papillon 12 Feb 2016

RNS Roughly translated IMHO - confirmation of what we already knew. Still they have another two weeks to agree to mining ministry terms to get licence. Which were led to believe are not deal breakers. So if we don't get confirmation from James or NRRP they have agreed and sent this proposal back to ministry of mines by 28th Feb, I think we're well within our rights to bring the board to task.

Re: Conditions Our interests have been S N A F U elled.All too late.

Conditions After the best part of two years, and with our Management changed, it would seem that despite the many trips, visits, meetings & countless hundreds of thousands of pounds of shareholderfunds.....the conditions cannot be fully established whereby North River will be allowed to extract Zinc at less than the cost to sell it.About 18 months & no details too late. All the while the company slowly slips toward the debt holder.S.N.A.F.U.FLU.
