Re: Market question (FAO TT) Yep...Paul's review makes pretty tough reading too. I'm not sure if any major shareholders like HT Media are offloading again or if it's a wider sell off. I can fully understand why people don't like these numbers and the prospect of another placing, however, IMO if the sales continue to grow the key for me, as I alluded to previously, is where they can get the gross margins to.In 2011 before BOO IPO'd their figures were T/o 24.4m GP12.5m 51.4%! OP177k NP after tax 139k. So margins were good but they were not massively profitable at the bottom line at that point. Still early days for KOOV but sales and margins have to increase significantly and rapidly and cash burn reduced. Hopefully things like SOUQ.com will help.

Re: Market question Do you have access to Stockopedia? The excellent Paul Scott summary in the small cap section of 7th Sept sums up the investment case pretty well.

Re: Reason for rise Same successful model as BooHoo, ASOS, MissGuided etc. albeit a bit later in time, in the emerging financial markets. India offers huge potential. Nothing is ever certain but I believe this has big potential.

......all seems a bit speculative here with Koovs .....is there anything to hang your hat on ? ....SAGE

Re: Reason for rise All good points but there is a big difference. That is that a lot of them are manufacturing in low cost economies and selling in developed economies. Koovs are still selling at a gross margin (not net margin) loss. We will only know if this model will work if they can produce a decent profit on goods sold in the Indian market.

Re: Reason for rise India is a massive market, emergining ecconomy, huge potential. As the others have done, they will expand into other markets and widen their portfolio. MissGuided started 7 years ago as a UK only young women's clothing company. Now in the US, Australia, France too and selling children's and men's clothes. Now turning over £100m from a standing start just 7 years ago! BooHoo similar story and now hoovering up other companies such as Nast Gal and Pretty Little Thing. Koovs will have similar ambition but they have deceived to start in India, where there is less start up competition. They will diversify and go international but have great potential in India to harness first. Watch this space!

Re: Reason for rise ......but gatheringdust, this one is India sub-cont market.....SAGE

Reason for rise Undervalued, shares in demand, great potential, etc. Hopefully following in the footsteps of ASOS, BooHoo, Jules! Online shopping is taking over from the high street. MissGuided also growing from strength to strength and preparing to float I believe, could also be one to look out for next year when listed.
