MULTI BAGGER, MULTI DEAL! This should fly into the 20's today. Happy days ahead.

Re: Another good RNS - wow now that's what I call a proper response to news - up 95% as I type.Had a long standing holding at about 10p and managed to add at 7.5 this morning.

Global Nomad 23 Mar 2017

Another good RNS another commercial deal. Once again looking for a positive response from the SP - surely more and more people can see the potential for the fuel cell over the battery and IEH's position in the market should only strengthen. Longer service time and quicker re-charge/replacement of fuel/energy is a very attractive idea.

Re: Good RNS - 600 units I thought the alternative fact of a swallow not being a swallow was more intriguing but glad you posted the truth in any case...

Re: More good news.. (drone deal) A couple of interesting articles on fuel cell drones, and certainly possibilities for IEH here as we know they're focussing on drones, but I can't work out the first link, can't access the second without a subscription, and the quote from the third is doctored, nowhere is IEH mentioned. So where's the connection between MMC & IEH?On their website IEH make no mention of being at the International Defense Exhibition and Conference mentioned in the last link, and if they were supplying the fuel cells to MMC I find it hard to believe they wouldn't be there. So I wonder about the original poster's intentions.Artji

Re: Good RNS - 600 units Is it profitable?Or just a smokescreen, not really seen an explanation of the resolutions at the forthcoming AGM.

More good news.. (drone deal) As posted by User Dean Windass on advfn this morning..From here : "No RNS but the HFC IEH MMC drone news is out .... IEH appear to get a name check here .... in association with MMC .... New drone set to be big draw a trade fair in Abu Dhabi this week (International Defense Exhibition and Conference).About time but well done to IEH for pulling this off. Is the deal with MMC exclusive? Anyone got any data what this market is worth with early adopters paying top whack for the new tech? I wonder where the HFCs are being made? Japan (SMILE FC SYSTEM CORP)?, Singapore? Loughborough? Cocoa Beach / Port Canaveral?Though these are made for the defence market, I bet there will be loads of people buying these trying to get an edge over competitors ..... cheaper than satellites and able to work under cloud ..... Intelligent Energy Hydrogen Fuel Cells Significantly Extend Drone Flight Time."Hydrogen drone set to be big draw at IdexABU DHABI, 21 hours, 0 minutes agoDrone manufacturer MMC, a global leader in industrial and military drones and developer of the first hydrogen drone, has introduced the next generation of its hydrogen technology at the International Defense Exhibition and Conference (Idex 2017), which opened in Abu Dhabi today (Feb 19).The HyDrone 1800, designed for the military, is expected to be a big draw at the show. MMC is showcasing the product together with CATIC at the exhibition. The carbon-fiber HyDrone 1800 is an almost indestructible aircraft. Designed for use in the toughest conditions, the drone is wind-resistant, rain-resistant, cold-resistant and still incredibly lightweight. Most importantly, HyDrone 1800's hydrogen fuel cell technology provides a flight endurance of four hours or of a stunning 50+ hours when combined with MMC tethered technology, said the company. The endurance of the hydrogen drone changes the scope of applications dramatically: most military or industrial drones currently on the market are limited by flight times of under 1 hour. HyDrone 1800 achieves the extended flight time while maintaining altitude limits of 4,500 m – competitive or better than other similar sized aircraft – and a payload capacity of up to 5kg, it said.Hydrogen fuel cell technology is a breakthrough for drones. The technology is an environmentally friendly solution towards a drone industry bottleneck: flight endurance. Constructed for safety and durability, an auxiliary lithium battery starts the fuel cell and provides a backup source of power for the drone. The properties of hydrogen fuel not only allow for extraordinary flight time, but extend the ideal temperature range for operation. Hydrogen drones can be flown in extreme temperatures – from -10 deg Celsius to 40 deg Celsius, the company said."This technology is the next step forward for military grade drones," says MMC's founder Lu Zhi Hui. "It's safe, it's effective, it's proven – and the endurance is unmatched by other power sources. "Payloads can be changed quickly and easily. Operators may choose from payloads including a thermal imaging camera, low light camera, laser equipment, or zoom camera; making the system ideal

Re: Good RNS - 600 units I'm with you Global, having lost 1.3K and watched their travails for over a year now. They are in a fantastic sweet spot for technology and the direction of travel is something I believe the economy really wants but they just can't seem to execute. Maybe at last there is someone with a commercial head on that is helping matters but I've seen these blips before so will hold for now, one swallow doesn't a swallow make. My fear is they run out of cash and sponsorship before realising their aims.

Global Nomad 20 Feb 2017

Good RNS - 600 units Well at last we have some positive news. The spread has remained very wide for months now. The price movements are distorted by the spread changing rather than actual trades. Still, if we can get some commercial sales going, something must be working. As previously though I am not ready to add to my holding - want to get a sense that the sp will make a more consistent move back up.

Re: RNS - agreement cancelled I think you may be right, survival looks fragile right now. The possibility of takeover with such large debts seems remote, better to pick up the patents afterwards I guess.I think I may as well pick up my few remaining £, they've had long enough to do a recovery and seem to be flailing about.

Re: RNS - agreement cancelled Without this income by my reckoning IEH's this years results read as:Turnover: £6.7mLoss: £25.9m (not including exceptional items)Cash outflow from operations: £20.3mCash: £20.6m£30m 13.0 per cent Senior Secured Convertible Loan Notes 2019 issued in latest refinancing (so circa £3.9m/annum interest). So I think IEH have to start making some serious income in the next 12 months or so, else there's going to be a cash crunch. The big advantage of the GTL contract was that they could 'sell' fuel cells to that division and I suspect that's where a significant amount of the fuel cell divisions £6.7m of income came from. It was also a good advert for the business, demonstrating the benefits of the fuel cells. If the financial savings are already seen to be worthwhile, from the operations of the fuel cells IEH have placed so far at sites in India, it is possible that GTL, or whoever they give the operating contract to, will continue to follow the strategy of replacing diesel generators. IEH should then be well placed to get the business of supplying the fuel cells. But, like I say, this has all got to happen pretty quickly. They're going to find it very difficult to raise more cash with that £30m secured debt having first say on assets if they go broke, it'll mean nothing left for anyone else as their total assets, including £7.9m of intangibles, only amount to £12.2m. Their best chance may be if the loan note holders think it's worth putting more money in, otherwise the only option would seem to be a massively discounted open offer to shareholders. If I'm right, they only have a very short window of opportunity. Personally I suspect they're not going to survive, at least as a listed company, but I hope I'm wrong. All IMHO. I'm not invested here, just watching.Artji

Re: RNS - agreement cancelled Does this mean the towers will no longer be using IE fuel cells and are back to generators and diesel energy provision? If so that's a big retrograde step and means the commercial viability of fuel cells replacing traditional power generation is not there yet? It also means revenues will be down by some 7M per month but losses stemmed by 5m pa as the contract was loss making. Need a new customer and a better commercial proposition then!!!

Re: RNS - agreement cancelled I considered buying by didn't. had some cash available but felt that IEH has been a little too unpredictable to take the risk. I do have a habit of buying shares where i feel there has been an over reaction and that sense will prevail, but perhaps wasn't as sure of this. Of course there was a large spread too but could still have been a good call.
