Deal Example September last year, Africa Energy paid just under $8m for 10%, if we farmed out 40%, the minimum a Major would accept as operator, we could be looking at just over £20m /10pEven if we farmed out at a discount to the Africa Energy deal, we would be looking at 6-8p, plus cash heldCanadian oil and gas company Africa Energy has acquired a 10 percent interest in a license offshore Namibia. Offshore Namibia: braced for big finds? Here is a link from January 2018, as a reminder of why we are here[link]

Re: Farm out ongoing Char looking to go with smaller companies for the farm out, as majors seem to be giving them a swerve Main reason I can see is Char only want to give up 20-30% and only hold 65% Majors need scale and at least 40%, as with Exxon and the Galp deal GBP has 85% to play with so might be a better fit for a major Looking good in any case, bit more attention as predicted

Farm out ongoing Farm out process still on going, much the same as Chariot, who are looking to close a deal before they spud prospect "S" Both companies potential farmees probably like to close a deal before Tullow spud in September The CPR shows that GBP (under £4m M/cap) has a massive prize potential compared to Chariot (£43m M/cap)The BoD having previously worked for majors and mid-caps, so are not accustomed to talking ahead of an potential deal. So probably why no update in the quarterlysThe numbers in the CPR makes the prospects massive potential, too great to ignore So all to play for

Re: Quarterly report due Apparently being released FridayLooking at the CPR again, I have always quoted the best estimate figure of 3.66bln bbs and for some reason not taken on board the high end estimate potential, which is mind blowingYou don't hear 9.63bln bbs being quoted very day[link]

Godspeed 23 Apr 2018

Re: Quarterly report due Agreed, they need to deliver this time, there can be no excuses, the timing could not be better currently. It is self evident there is an appetite for deals in Namibia. . The value of BoD's 40% holding has reduced dramatically over the years, so they are feeling the pain along with the long term holders here. Hopefully this will spur them on to complete a dealThe ASX listing requires a quarterly cash flow report as well as an activity report, so there should be a sniff of what is happening at least

Winnet 23 Apr 2018

Re: Quarterly report due The PR with this company is downright awful, lets hope they are slightly better on making farm out deals. Hopefully a little will be revealed later in the week / Monday.

Godspeed 23 Apr 2018

Quarterly report due Quarterly activities report and cash flow report both out on 28th April last year, so will be this week or MondayShould have something in there regarding progress / interest in the farm out situationfingers crossed

Re: Edison note No, no mention of GBPHowever the note highlights the targets in play this summer in NamibiaCurrently both Tullow and Chariot intend to drill back to back wells if the initial wells are successful2019 will see Eco Atlantic join the party with the drill bit on two prospectsAll these wells are in the same basin as GBP (Walvis) and will derisk our assets if they hit the black stuff and increase cos.Tullow will be drilling PEL 37 which is just two blocks away from GBP and they are also in PEL30 with Eco in the Cooper licence, which is equally close. Repsol are adjacent to us as wellI imagine any success will have an impact on our sp, but also you have to think any potential farmee will want a deal closed before Tullow spud this SeptemberGBP have 3.66 billion bbls of unrisked in an area that is very active, which cannot be ignored, one would thinkThe focus will be on Namibia this summer and hopefully that focus will turn to GBP as well. Currently GBP are the cheapest ticket in town for a slice of Namibia high impact exploration

Re: Edison note Can see many oil companies mentioned, but nothing about GBP !RegardsPR - going back to hibernation.
