can someone please explain what just happened?? From 3.00pm -4.30pm all trades are circa 120-121, and then after hours a few small trades trickle thru and see the sp marked down 5%. Is that just processing trades from earlier in the day or is there some other explanation?

Re: 3% Sorry - you were referring to yesterday. However, sp now in blue again. Onward and upward!

Results Company announced on 1 February that full years figures would be published on 6 April. Hello it is now 11 April and not a word. Why.

Re: Final results Just dipped into these after digesting today's results and some broader research. Appears well run, with a well covered dividend yield of circa 6.5% at 106p (of which over 4% will be paid before the summer). It gives exposure to the construction and property improvement sector without betting on a rise in property prices themselves- just on stuff being built. Not without some headwinds, but in the year just reported they threw off operating cash of 120% of profit and it seems to be quite an exciting and credible story. They have ample headroom within existing facilities and if they do not make an acquisition will see debt fall rapidly. At face value they appear to have integrated acquisitions well and the fact the earn out on some is ratcheting up would indicate that those are going better now than they thought a year ago. Those headwinds also impacted circa half of the year just reported so management should have a reasonable idea by now of how easy (or not) it will be to pass on the rising input prices to customers. I suspect the fall in £ has also made their products much more attractive internationally- though do not know what if any focus the management is placing on exports. My only fears are that the management is not being honest and companies who buy up lots of companies usually step on a mine somewhere..... but trying not to be cynical !!

Re: Final results Echo your comments, ookyfly - currently selling on a 7.7 multiple and yielding 6% is an attractive combo certainly; might well add to my holding here, bearing in mind the 'best in class' Optima window system has hardly got going yet (shrewd acquisition) to add to the other additions now addressing both the new and refurb mkts - sasa.

Final results These look good to me. Of course input costs are up, due to sterling's slide post referendum, but so are profits - and the divi.Epwin remains more than 20% down over the past 12 months. I imagine the sp is depressed due to uncertainty over prospects for the economy post Brexit.Undervalued imho. I have a large holding (iht exempt) and will definitely hold.

Re: Nice Rise The gentle upswing continues. A stealth rise, if you like. I'm happy.

Re: Nice Rise now that would be nice. Might just cover the costs of having a Kinder egg removed form my dog.
