Re: RNS back in business It could have been so much worse, this rns has actually brightened my day, although I do expect the sp to retrace to 3p or even lower in the short term, seen it happen time after timeGLA
RNS back in business All things being equal looks promising given the alternative! Lets hope it regains some investor credibility on relisting and 3p is history. At least Triton! didnt want the £700k in cash but happy to take £90k and shares in BOOM at least they see it working going forward. As they say in Dads Army...Panic over Mr Mannering.
Re: Terrible management Personally I think RP will need to consider resigning in due course, his actions in going for this reverse takeover has cost us lots of money that we simple can't afford at this time. I thought BOOM had a great future before the initial announcement of this deal, now I'm not so sure. I would love to know what Nick Candy's hand was in all of this and what he thinks now. We should have our AGM early next month and I for one WILL be attending, i urge other holders to do the same.
Re: Terrible management Hi M - well thats pretty good, and I just hope thay can recover.... managements are trying to take advantage of the poor sentintiment that is dogging the sector, but they dont want to 'chew off more than they can digest'! It is fascinating to watch though.... and I always try to look for an oportunity to trade/take a stake...... but I am not ready yet as I would like a clearer picture of its prospects. ATB ARPS - The chart gave a 'buy signal' back in what looks like Sept 2017, BUT I feel a tad cautious at the mo, so I will just bide my time!
Re: Terrible management Agree Andy,Still on the plus side (ever the optimist)! they are isssuing new shares to cover the 700k shortfall and the number of shares equates to 4p a share roughly I believe ie 16.6 m shares so they will relist at that hopefully.Time will tell.Regards
Re: Terrible management M - that is bad luck - the break fees etc are not good news! BOOM is havig a tough old time, and low sentiment towards it seems to be behind their failure to raise enough cash - ie not enough people want exposure to it at the moment. I just hope they can get over this 'hiccup'! ATB
Terrible management Usually you get all your ducks in line first. We may find that Boom is the one that will be taken over.Still the only bright comment I could see from it was the implication of a new FD.Other than that I feel exceedingly flat and disappointed today.Maverick
Acquisition off! The deal has fallen through as they couldn't raise all the money needed. So now the company is left with a break fee, legal expenses and other costs and is still burning cash and needs to find some urgently to remove the suspension.Shocking announcement really. I feel for the poor shareholders who have been locked in to this disaster situation for 3 months.
Re: Thanks Arborman Probably Monday then! Thanks for the update.Maverick
Re: Thanks Arborman Had this reply from RP today, hope he does not mind me posting it here, why should he...Hi ArbormanHope youre well. There should be news released to the market in the next couple of days.I can only apologise for the prolonged process.Cheers for nowRob
Thanks Arborman At least he said it would cpmplete!Any ideas on relist price pro rata?Im in knicky Knacky noo deep here,Maverick
RP email Received from RP on 9th March...Hi ArbormanEverything is in process and book build will complete next week.... then admission doc out the week after I am guessingLooking to resume early April hopefullyCheersRob*not so reassuring that he is "guessing"so he said the book build would complete LAST week and we would have admission RNS THIS week, presumably with an EGM notification too. FWIW i think the book build is not going to plan, i would have thought that if this is seen as a good move/investment then the book build would be fairly quick, it has not been so maybe the institutional investors are not so keenanyway, we will know soon enoughGLA LTHAx

Re: RNS reverse takeover! Thanks AR for your kind words yes its a been a tricky ride on this one. My overall portfolio is doing great but BOOM lets it down so finally yes finally! I may get my break even point back on a relist.Interesting watch from the sidelines for you!CheersM
Re: Computer error!! Well I didnt expect THAT trading update, having digested it I now feel it is potentially a very positive development, with current shareholders in full control through a vote at the EGM, we should be looking at doubling our investments with the completion of the deal. Crazy change of direction for the company in the first instance, but the BOD would not do this without good reason so I wish them all the best.
