Re: well is this a black day for co.? not sure why you think this a black day Cur, i think its a reassuring statement which reinforces the openness that the company wants to have with its investors. the simply stated the facts and let people know it didnt impact the ATC business. Many companies try to hide this sort of stuff. I for one like the honesty

Are thing about to change ????? Last coal mine in NZ shutting down Answer in NZ parliament today, the reason is all down to US shale gas and not surprising 1400 Chinese mines closed (in very recent future). If you have to burn coal pick anthracite but prediction of no increase in prices in next two years.

Re: RNS was good Still invested here (one of my favourite AIM share's tbh), and still see great value at current share price. Like most just waiting for the financials but all looking good given recent developments. Lets hope we see a good return on capital for the recent equipment which I'm sure we will long term. dwiggy.

Re: RNS was good it will be nice to see them actually make a profit . the production increase and increased utilisation of assets in addition to significant reduction in fuel costs should mean some very good financials are on the way . it does seem a well run outfit . however it is hard to make profits when prices are this low .

Re: RNS was good RNS' have been good for a while now, with little movement to the sp. [link] db has quietened down a lot of late as I think we are all just waiting for a lift in the mining sector. ATC have changed little from my initial reason for investing and that is because I believe they can become a big player. Sadly recession globally has made business harder but in the end I think ATC will come good.

RNS was good The RNS read good. I bought back in today after previously holding. Expecting good things but would appreciate comment on it from others...

Re: New Equipment I don't wish to have a real downer on the board at the moment, but this new plant is 12-18 months away from adding real money to the share price... Its at the mine to take away overburden and lots of it. So all cost and no extra profit. My read of us is this. We will get some good Q1 numbers in April, followed by excellent eoy profit numbers by the end of May / early June then we will continue with some excellent production and sales numbers but this will hide the cost of the overburden. Remember last years Q1 being extremely poor......big uplift expected. This coupled with a eoy profit, I would expect....Imho I think the signal of the real value of this new kit will come if and when there is talk of an expansion to the wash plant. So yes I am looking to buy back in at the beginning of April and then review after the eoy's......all depends how it rerates and if it consolidates after this. All in I think that the management are doing all the right things will the fuel prices and depressed wage demands, can they pull off the expansion and articulate it to the world...I only hope so gla... Time will tell.M
