BAB wangbaudan 20 Feb 2015

Re: 4.17% drop today All the same, interesting to wonder why Bab wasn't chosen, especially in view of the DSG contract. Surely it would have fitted in well. An American company to procure food and medical supplies for Britain's armed forces!!Wonder if it will include MRE - Meals-Ready-to-Eat - also know to GIs as "Meals refused by Ethiopians".Perhaps The reaction is due to the fact that Bab are usually preferred bidders and this is a surprise. Meanwhile note that Woodford recently bought into Bab.

Re: No Dignity Why be bitter when watching the Rangers sham is so much fun!Not sure why you mention Dermot Desmond but setting your moral compass by what Celtic do would seem rather odd. Dermot Desmond looks to be another out and out crook in the mould of all the others wouldn't you say?I see they have now changed the venue of the AGM for a 3rd time and it's now back in Glasgow. The small minded will think this is win for 'the people' when the truth of the matter is that Rangers will end up paying three times as much to police an event which will be hijacked by a few loonies who have an irrelevant shareholding. As I've said from the start, this is barge pole stock to be avoided by any serious investor.

M/C Market Cap of only £1.5m at 0.10, so it will not take too of an increase in revenue/profit to push the sp higher.

ESNT Embridge 20 Feb 2015

Re: Decent Results Have held ESNT since Filtrona days, the management have similar ideas about acquisition as their forebears from Bunzl. I think with their aspiration this remains a buy.

NewGame Capital sells its holding Gaming Realms, the creator and developer of interactive next generation online gaming products, has been notified by NewGame Capital LP, ("NewGame" that it no longer holds a notifiable interest in the Group.NewGame's controlling shareholder, bwin.party digital entertainment plc, has been engaged in a programme of non-core asset disposals since Autumn 2014. Accordingly NewGame's holding in the Group has been placed with new and existing shareholders (the "Placing".As a result of the Placing the following Directors yesterday purchased further ordinary shares of 10 pence each in the Company ("Ordinary Shares" at 20 pence per Ordinary Share:Michael Buckley bought 1,400,000 Shares - total holding now 18,000,000 Shares (9.22%)Patrick Southon bought 500,000 Shares - total holding now 10,897,039 Shares (5.58%)Jim Ryan bought 1,000,000 Shares - total holding now 1,384,615 Shares (0.71%)Atul Bali bought 1,000,000 Shares - total holding now 1,000,000 Shares (0.51%)Some of GMR's directors have very close, if not incestuous, ties with bwin.party, either directly or through NewGame (majority owned by bwin.party), Cashcade (sold to PartyGaming) or PartyGaming (merged with Bwin to form bwin.party). This may help to explain the attractive price they paid for the shares.Michael Buckley, Executive Chairman, was Executive Chairman of Cashcade, which he founded with Patrick Southon and Simon Collins in 2000, and led its sale to PartyGaming.Patrick Southon, Chief Executive Officer, was Managing Director of Cashcade and Managing Partner of NewGame, an investment fund focusing on innovation within the gambling sector.Mark Segal, Finance Director, recently left bwin.party as Finance Director of its bingo division, having been Finance Director of Cashcade until it was acquired by PartyGaming in July 2009. REX Derek Hope 20 Feb 2015

Re: I am pleased that I held the REX shares What are the ramifications of accepting the offer and holding the Ball shares? Since part of the offer would be controlled by the price of Ball what might happen to the Ball price after the deal goes through. How easy would it be to sell the Ball shares?

FTO CF 20 Feb 2015

So the question is what is a promise note for 5p which is never likely to paid worth? The market is at the moment saying it is worth nothing, so my tactic is to hold and treat as a free bet on a 3 legged donkey in the grand national. If the market started to value the share + Promise note at 11p or above (promise note started to be worth a penny or more I would think about selling as it would more than cover dealing costs and might pay for a meal out.)

BHR idg69 20 Feb 2015

Jesus buffet that's some exposure. I think sukithedog was in this for close to £100k from recollection. I don't know what the protocol is regarding certificates etc, I would take advice from your broker as to the best course of action. I trade on Halifax's iWeb platform and as of early this week there is no trace of my BHR holding of 3 million shares. My trading history is still there but all else has evaporated into thin air along with the last 4 years of hard earned cash. The very best of luck in all your future investments, and I mean that. Non of us deserved to loose our shirts on BHR, we may not have read the warning signs and may have relied on blind faith at times but we were all well and truly lied to by the board.

Nice retrace . The stock pushed high a bit too fast in my view . So this retrace should target a similar pattern as we have seen for years now !! far my NUMERO UNO stock to trade this one. I will hopefully find time to post my TA to show the next re-entry point if you are out . We are still far so don't worry . It won't happen today For those short then the next level down is the 38.2 retrace and then the mean reversion of this last leg up . The last chance to go long will be the 61.8 ! Though like in many previous situations this has been a quick intraday movement so one needs to be quick For the longs at the moment , I wouldn't worry . I suspect new highs will continue into the year probably 3450 , so any dip is a beautiful buy signal . Just wait though as in my view ( no advice whatsoever ) all retraces have fallen between the 31.8 and 61.8 retrace level . So at the min wait for a mean reversion to happen i.e. 50 IF shopping and household commitments allow it I will post my chart . In my view this is one of the best shares to trade and hold . No doubts . It gets carried away , retraces , and then resumes. For years now . The fundamentals are good too and easy to understand . Am out and will hopefully get my retrace right again. All the best
