Any news? There is solid competition already: The Canadian Enerkem is far ahead. They have a plant running in Alberta and are in advanced planning for another one in Rotterdam. Fulcrum is building a plant in Nevada with TRI gasification, same as VLS and Fischer-Tropsch technology from BP/Johnson Matthey. Fulcrum has already the waste sorting plant up.

Any news? the AGM update was laughable. Nothing material to update yet again. Im close to dumping this stock and moving on. My worry now is competition - the minute some other developer turns up with deep pockets, VLS will be no more. VLS have the market to themselves right now, but they are not taking advantage of it.

Any news? Did anyone attend the AGM? Not much is posted on the other boards, except for Wareborn’s belief statement.

Any news? There is no news and apparently nothing to discuss on the message board either. Maybe after the AGM?

Just to cheer you up, this web ( [link] posted the following comment: "The first Velocys plant in the UK, which is due to start construction in 2021 and be producing fuel by 2024, will take hundreds of thousands of tonnes of organic household waste and convert it into clean-burning, sustainable fuels, delivering more than 60 per cent greenhouse gas reduction, compared with conventional fossil fuel and savings of 60,000 tonnes of CO2 every year. Latest research findings estimate that the Velocys fuel plant will create more than 5,000 jobs in the UK and add nearly £3bn to the UK economy." Love to know where they got their info from as I can find no corroboration!!

VLS Planning Submisson The link says “Document unavailable.” Could you help?

VLS Planning Submisson Looks like the scoping report is in. Its a bit light on detail, which may indicate their level of preparedness and the fact that this is merely a stage gate for the F4C. planninganddevelopment.nelincs.gov.uk/online-applications/files/5EAF12F0653854656A8F93EE3794E736/pdf/DM_0327_19_SCO-EIA_SCOPING_OPINION_REQUEST-1426010.pdf

RNS: Transfer of FT Reactors to Velocys from ENVIA They probably wont. Otherwise reality will rapidly hit home with potential investors and they’ll run for the hills or to another waste to fuels developer, who is less restricted by their technology choices. The elephant in the room is the fact that even when the thing was running, we couldn’t attract the blue chip investors. This tells me that there is much more to this than is being let on.

JAMMY 27 Mar 2019

RNS: Transfer of FT Reactors to Velocys from ENVIA The latest RNS raises more questions than providing answers. Firstly, the reactors were transferred at the end of the year for catalyst discharge. This is more than 3 months ago and Wareborn talks about an “initial review.” How much time do they need for a complete review? Secondly, one of the reactors was damaged by the mishap and could not be restarted. How can Wareborn state “…they performed as designed not only on start-up, but also over a significant period of time.” Since they opened the reactor they know how extensive the damage was and they should be able to identify why the malfunctioning of the auxiliary cooling damaged the reactor internals. When will the company share those insights?
