RNS Yet another strong set of results. Punchy special dividend. I wonder how many will reinvest some or all of that?It will be interesting to see how good the team are at now developing new growth strategies. Given their track record I feel very confident.

- Disposal of Loansathome4u to Non-Standard Finance plcResult of General Meeting3 August 2015The Board of S&U is pleased to announce that, at the General Meeting convened earlier today to approve the disposal of Loansathome4u and authorise the Directors to take all such steps to implement the disposal, the Resolution was duly passed. Completion of the disposal is expected to take place on 4 August 2015.

Return of capital Following the proposed disposal of Loansathome for £82.5m (£6.94 per share), the Co. has said that it intends to "make a significant return of capital to shareholders"Has anyone tried to calculate how much this might be?I guess it will all be buttoned up next week.Should I buy more beforehand?

Re: Great RNS Can't quiet understand why they would postpone the licence application, notwithstanding their funding is covered short term by the sale proceeds. Having done all this hard work to secure it, why postpone it now?I wonder how much of a pay out we will get? Should be reasonable IMO.

Re: Great RNS The thought crosses my mind as to whether the Coombs are considering selling up. The balance sheet will be very simple and could be a tasty starter for a bigger fish wanting to enter Advantage-type of business. The SME bit is still small after all. See that there was some selling towards the close - but I am hanging on.Nice to get a positive surprise for a change.

Re: Edison report. Topped up today at 20.70 on weakness because of the ex div.At least 20% upside IMHO. As the economy keeps growing and confidence grows with it so will continued car sales and we should be large beneficiaries since our market share is so tiny and is growing nicely.

Re: Understated solid results + nice div... Well done Bernie -I thought but didn't act .At 12.5x forward earnings there hardly expensive.Can see car sales continue to grow this year -lower fuel ,low interest rates ,higher real incomes -whats not to like !

Yea, as you'd expect, the results reflected what was in Feb's trading update and are pretty impressive.They're being a bit cautious about the effect of the regulatory changes, but I'm pretty confident that won't effect us to any great extent.
