Re: this aint over 14allagain where's your £2 minimum and if Ophir ended up with all of SMDR being explorers who are moving into Indonesia they would get to do their thing...no need to sell anything.A Big backwards step in your argument i see....which seems to be the case with you in general when someone posts relevant information questioning your boooooooom and we have lift off posts.Jealous of the jocks are you...i can only imagine your jacket is covered in milk botle tops and you like to goose step whilst supporting the hereditary priviledged...i've never understood the EDL way of thinking.best of luck

Re: Stop Whining ! A better way to buy into Ophir, if you wanted, is for Salamander to be bought out at 150p by someone else and then if you like, and I don't, buy Ophir shares with the money - you'll get a lot more...

Stop Whining ! Dominion petroleum got xx shares in Ophir at 230p range and Ophir then went on to reach 600p+Ophir is excellent deal for SMDR private investors to leverage their current monetary value of SMDR shares through the Ophir deal!imo

Still time for a bidding war Reckon a better offer will arrive on the table. Ophir has dropped too much and is still falling. When Salamander sp rises significantly I bet there will be multiple sells.

Re: this aint over Charlie the offer on the table is worth only 96p at ophir's current price. that is not a lot more than the SONA deal of 40% or one of the assets. I am not happy with the board taking this deal, they have screwed this up big time. Ophir would still have a revenue stream of 60% of bula and get back 70% of what they paid for the whole of SMDR. all you are capable of is to sling insults rather than put up any decent argument just watching your second rate rugby team play a 3rd rate rugby team, the commentator is getting all excited that the sweaties are beating the tongans sad sad sad.. nearly as deluded as the football team, now there is a 3rd rated team from a 3rd rate scottish premier league

Re: this aint over you really know nothing one4all Ophir energy are looking for a revenue stream so why would they buy one then sell it again?only offer on the table is Ophir's...115.9p"bula alone is owrth north of £2 per share"Your a goon of the highest order who knows nothing and understands even less...away and ramp yirsel intae a stupor mushroom boy.best of luck

Re: this aint over SONA deal can still be done by ophir after they take over SMDR, then OPHIR would be the biggest winners here. I await SONA offer for the whole SONA offer at 125p will come IMHO

Hugely underwhelming figures from Ophir which must leave shareholders hoping that SONA is spending all weekend planning a counter bid. SMDR seems happy to accept the Ophir offer, but it's not the deal any of us were looking for. Interesting that Ophir's SP is taking a hammering today as well. I'm at the stage where I'd like out now and at least this gives me the chance to get out with a decent profit, albeit, it could be so much better.

Ophir Deal No doubt when this deal has gone through the share price of Ophir will beef up somehwat as they would have inherited an extremely good oil and gas producer. But whether the shares offer instead of cash is going to finalise the offer being made is anyone's guess.Ophir being 3.7 down on sp today makes their deal seem poor, so maybe there is a better offerout there if Salamander is patient - or why not just go it alone.Been @ £2 - 60 within the last 3 years[link]

Loldemort 21 Nov 2014

Re: this aint over Yes, this makes no sense at all -- SONA would be mad not to make an offer for the whole company at this price. And further to what you are saying, why has Ophir made the deal contingent on the SONA offer being refused? Because if Ophir are offering us a fair price, then even *they* would be better off if the SONA deal went ahead and they got the cash for them!As Admiral Akbar said, "It's a triiick!"

posts on lse.co.uk some of those people shouldn't be anywhere near a computer based on the drivelso one person says if we don't take this deal we will need to fund raise.....hello..SONAanother one ,,oh the offer is at 115 so why are we sitting at 92p..FFS

one4all 21 Nov 2014

this aint over for a mere $150mill more than they are paying for 40% of buluang Sona could buy the whole of SMDR .
