Malcy's Blog re Todays RNS Rockhopper Exploration Rockhopper has announced a Sea Lion update this morning with the post FEED optimisation process having ‘substantially de-risked from a technical cost and schedule perspective’. Phase 1 resources have increased from 220 to 250 million barrels (gross) with associated capex to first oil of $1.8bn, also gross. Contracts for supply and service are nearing final agreement in preparation for execution at Project sanction. Along with this, as previously announced the PIM has been submitted to secure senior debt funding pre FID and CEO Sam Moody says that ‘significant progress has been made across key areas’. All in all we really are getting to the important and exciting time for Sea Lion which must look like a stand out asset in current oil industry projects and with Premier now a confirmed seller of Zama, focus very much seems to be turning to Sea Lion as the next big growth project.

RNS Egypt Update From Malcy’s blog today. Rockhopper Exploration RKH has announced in an Egypt update that the Al Jahraa-7 development well has found pay in both the Abu Roash C&F intervals and in the Upper Bahariya and Lower Bahariya _1 and _2 intervals and that testing is ongoing. The Al Jahraa-12 spudded on August 4th and will take approximately 55 days to complete. Probably of more interest to United Oil & Gas in the long-run.

Malcy's Blog re Todays RNS onemanandhisdog: really building up a genuine head of steam Steam is is vapour which turns into hot air, exactly what Moody has been spouting for years. I don’t fully blame Moody though, he’s PMO’s puppet who in turn are the puppets of their lenders. PMO ruined RKH.

Malcy's Blog re Todays RNS Rockhopper Exploration A Sea Lion funding update from RKH this morning as the preliminary Information Memorandum has been submitted to potential senior lenders. This will form the basis of a loan application for the Sea Lion senior debt project financing and is supported by a comprehensive set of independent expert reports covering the full range of technical, reservoir, HSSE, legal and tax aspects of the Sea Lion project. CEO Sam Moody said that ‘this is a key milestone in the project financing process for the Sea Lion development and if it is well received we anticipate moving into a phase of detailed lender due diligence and documentation during Q4 2019’. Overall this a a genuinely important step for RKH, it is a significant step for the financing after talking to the lenders for some time so this won’t come as a shock to them, I understand that they have already appointed their own advisors for the process. It is also a strong sign of commitment from Premier as I can’t see that if the lenders say yes how it won’t then proceed. For those of us that have followed the Falkland Basin for many years this stage of proceedings has been a long time in the making but this announcement does make me think that the project is really building up a genuine head of steam.

RNS Ombrina Mare Arbitration Update RNS Number : 6709D Rockhopper Exploration plc 27 June 2019 27 June 2019 Rockhopper Exploration plc (“Rockhopper” or the “Company”) Ombrina Mare arbitration update Rockhopper Exploration plc (AIM: RKH), the oil and gas company with key interests in the North Falkland Basin and the Greater Mediterranean region, is pleased to provide the following update on its international arbitration against the Republic of Italy in relation to the Ombrina Mare field. On 26 June 2019, the Tribunal rejected Italy’s request for the suspension of the arbitration and Italy’s related intra-EU jurisdictional objections. It is now expected that further post hearing briefings will be submitted and a final outcome is now expected in Q1 2020. Rockhopper continues to believe it has strong prospects of recovering very significant monetary damages - on the basis of lost profits - as a result of the Republic of Italy’s breaches of the Energy Charter Treaty. All costs associated with the arbitration are funded on a non-recourse (“no win - no fee”) basis from a specialist arbitration funder. Sam Moody, CEO of Rockhopper, commented: “This decision represents an important step in the wider arbitration process. While much is still to be done, we remain positive on the prospects of the claim and look forward to an outcome in early 2020.”

Good bye ii If you make trades in each 3 monthly period in either ISA or ordinary account (I think 3 trades but check that ) there is no charge. I haven’t paid any for years, and the service has improved a lot in the last couple of years. Hope you get sorted.

Good bye ii @kooiker, worth checking but I think Selftrade do have custody fees. I moved away because the service was so bad -impossible to get the simplest of queries resolved. Good luck
