the large buy today was probably the auto div reinvestment purchase made on our behalf by the banking cartels. look forward to seeing mine in my account tonight.

the dividend is 4 pence per share. The stock is 50 pence per share. 8 % dividend.

Presumably a factory can be sold for more than it cost to construct and if you scored some brownie points hiring the idiot son of some local political bigwig, all the better. Perhaps the odds on the labour shortage being resolved over the period of construction was remote but since the only alternative to reducing production costs was advertising to raise the profile of your goods, which is just money out the door, i think it was not such a naive decision as some people seem to think.

hopefully what we experienced last week was capitulation.
